Vanessa, I never knew I was going to meet a rebond here," Alpha King said, staring at me with his cold blue eyes. Even in this dimly lit room, I could still see those lifeless eyes. "Your message was well delivered and you don't have to worry, I will think about it and get back to you," he added. For whatever reason, those words sent chills down my spine.

The only match for him was the alpha of the Ridgeview Pack. Jasmine grimaced. Kicking the chair aside, he bent on his haunches and seized her by the back of her nape. “You think playing dumb can save you?” he growled, his blistering gaze penetrating her soul. “Pathetic! You proved me damn wrong.” Confused and in pain, she moaned. But despite her eyes swelled with tears and innocence, the damn heart of the Alpha king did not melt.

“Your pack was unstable. Your father made deals with rogues.” “My father’s dead,” Luna said. “And I killed the rogues he dealt with.” Murmurs. The word ‘killed’ hit them harder than ‘rogues’. Marcus wasn’t done. “You are mated to the Alpha King. Conflict of interest.” Luna smiled, cold and sharp. “The Alpha King has no claim over Red Fang. I do. If you have a problem with that, take it up with me. Not him.” Rina frowned. “Bold words for someone with 25 wolves.”

He’s being ushered by Luna Shelley herself and his mate Luna Jertrude. Alpha King Henrik and his Beta as well as Maziar are nowhere to be seen.

Beta May answered while driving at speed, "I am my Alpha King." Alpha King rolled his eyes and said, "Didn't I tell you before to call me by my name while we link?" Beta May replied, "Yes, Raymond." Alpha King replied with a smile, "Now that's like it. Leave us alone when we go out for a run. I want to get wild today."

******** Three days later. "I can't believe you're leaving." Amanda pouts. "What time will they be here?" Katie joins in. I shrug, "Anytime now." I breathed out, Falling back on my bed. Today the Alpha King's men are coming to fetch me. My birthday was yesterday, turning the big seventeen. The Alpha King was nice enough to let me spend my birthday with my family; since my leaving was today, they were nice to me. "I heard the Alpha King is hot!" Amanda informs us. "How can you say that? Look what he does to all the girls, to our friend," Katie exclaims. I rolled my eyes. Here we go again, another argument. "I never said what he does was good. I was saying I heard he's hot."
