The Alpha's Secret Heiress Novels & Stories

That one made the crowd gasp. I took a breath and looked him in the eyes. “You’re right,” I said calmly. “Kai is strong. But he didn't make the Alpha.” I showed them the patterns on my body. “The moon goddess did. So I don't care what you or any idiot thinks of it. I am the Alpha of this pack.” The oldest elder shook his head. “We were afraid, Alpha. We only wanted to survive.” “And how many did not survive because of your fear?” I asked quietly. “How many children were buried because of your silence?”

They both had participated in a play in college and they were enacting it out for Vera especially. The story was about a Luna who was rejected by her Alpha mate and cheated too. Poor Luna was heartbroken and left his pack without a second glance at him. Later on she met a handsome Alpha who happened to be her second chance mate. The surprising element of the story was that the Luna was a secret heiress of an Alpha King. 'Verena, doesn't that sound just like our story? It's like they're retelling our story differently to us.' Verity exclaimed as the play was still on going.

Carter says, her belief anger, “You can read books, Alpha heir, The secret of the Lunar Legacy Pack, it's written there, you could ask the Luna, she's your mother, if you have no belief for the multitude of Elders here” “Apart from that, I see no reason why the Alpha heir should be angry regarding this. Isn't it obvious that you're the one? Why are you being paranoid? I interjected. “You’ve been quite vocal lately, Alex. Care to share your thoughts directly?” he replies,

“You have nothing, Bella. You have nothing now that you didn't have before we walked through those doors.” He let go of my neck. I pulled in a breath and put my hand to my throat. It was warm, tender, the skin there registering the shape of his fingers already. I looked at him across the carriage and felt something hot and unyielding settle in my chest. “I am the daughter of an Alpha,” I said. My voice came out steady which surprised me. "I am Blackthron's heiress. I don't need to perform for anyone's attention, I don't need to cry and scheme for scraps of notice. I am not an attention seeker. I never have been.”

Then Luna turned back to the pack members who had gathered outside. “I want everyone to hear this,” she said, her voice rising smoothly, powerfully. “This young woman is not just a newcomer. She is my niece. The daughter of Alpha Fred and Luna Celine, who died in the Blood War. Maya Hawke is of Alpha blood. She is heir to her family’s legacy. And she will take her place as Alpha.” The silence that followed was sharp. Like air was being sucked from the forest. I didn’t breathe. Louis stiffened beside me, his hand slipping from mine.

They are now supposed to leave their coven and their lives to live with a strange man in his pack whom they know nothing about. We didn’t prepare them for this! I knew we were being selfish for keeping this secret hidden for so long, but Athena was so sure that the goddess would give Alpha August a second chance to mate, just like she had been blessed with. That way he could have a new heir to his pack and he would leave our girls here with us. But we were wrong and now look at this mess. The Alpha just comes bursting into our territory whenever he wants. Maisie was having a mental breakdown, Melia was nowhere to be found and then there was Athena and she might rip some poor sap's head clean

“If you have thick eyebrows and naturally curly hair, please call the number at the bottom of the screen. You could be Alberta Wilson, the heiress of dying billionaire Alex Wilson.” “You should call the number, Daisy.” Cecilia tugged on a lock of my wild, unruly hair. “Maybe this is your real family.” Andrea let out a whoop of mocking laughter that made me cringe. “Daisy ... a missing heiress!” Andrea laughed again. “Alex Wilson is the leader of The United Association of Alphas.” She rolled her eyes. “No way is Daisy an Alpha.” “Sweetheart, stop it.” Cecilia winked at her daughter. “There’s no way to know if Daisy has Alpha blood before her first shift on her eighteenth birthday.”

“He was brought here right before I left, and I want to see him. Now.” The woman’s lips trembled slightly, and then she quickly exchanged a look with the older healer at her side… a look that only added fuel to the fire in my chest. They knew something, and they were trying to keep it from me. Even Kai could feel it, and he was already urging me to bare my teeth and shake the truth out of them. “Answer me,” I growled. The weight of my birthright evident in my tone once again, and filling the room with a pressure that made several healers bow their heads instinctively. “I am the crowned Alpha heir of Pine Shadows. You will not keep secrets from me.”

Throwing his hands up in the air he kneels down in front of me taking both of my hands in his. “ I just want to keep you safe baby. I can’t do that when you keep secrets from me.” He sighed “ Okay Okay, I’ll explain why I didn’t tell you.” I took a deep breath. I was trembling. I was scared to tell him this. What would he think afterwards? Wiggling in my seat I cross my legs and tuck my hands in between them. “ Do you remember when I came into your office a few months ago and you were on the phone with Alpha John? Well he’s the Alpha of the Moon and sun pack right?”

That the alpha position should only be given to males. I dragged my feet back to my room and stood in front of the window. The downpour was making the glass blurry, not allowing me to see what was outside. It was getting colder and I didn’t mind turning the heater on. I felt so numb all over my body. Even now I still can’t believe that my parents are gone. That the pack I used to take shelter on was snatched from my hands. Worse, I was sold by human traffickers and bought by a vicious alpha who wants to make use of me. What a life you have, Maddy.
