he mumbled to my hearing while he sent glares at Xavier. My lips trembled as I watched the duo exchange hardened looks but I did as I was told so as not to cause a scene. Ethan and Donatello’s conversation drifted away from his wedding and into the business of his company. I wasn’t really listening as more alphas approached us and surrounded Ethan. She has been taken and her husband will be coming for her soon!” Bris shouted and her mother shot her a deadly glare. "Sorry, what my daughter means today is…" "I don't care what she wants to say. She said softly. “But right now, you need to stay out of this.” “He didn’t even hesitate.” I said, tears spilling down my face. “He didn’t think he just decided.” Kara was quiet for a moment. “He is an Alpha.” She finally said. “This is how his world works.” I hugged myself. “Then what kind of world am I living in?” I asked.
