His blue eyes somehow darkened, and I could see the lust swirling in them. “Run.” And so, I did. I darted into the woods, my breath coming in quick, frantic gasps. I could hear Nicholas behind me, his footsteps crunching on fallen branches and leaves. “I will always catch you, Angel,” Nicholas shouted, his voice carrying through the woods. “Just leave me alone!” I shot back as I turned and zipped into the trees. He called my name, but I didn’t stop. The shadows danced around me as branches reached out like hands, but I pushed deeper, trying to lose him.

A single lantern sat on the desk. Another man was waiting there. He didn’t look like a rogue. He was dressed in clean, dark clothes. He had cold, calm eyes. He looked at me like I was something he couldn't quite figure out. “Sit, Luna Peniel,” he said. I didn’t sit. “Who are you?” “You can call me the Angel ,” he said. “I work for someone who is very interested in you.” My blood went cold. Henry. He was the only one I knew right now who could do this.

I breathe, and he smiles. "Your wolf is awakening. Trust me, that's the least shocking thing that just happened. Take a look outside the window for me, Angel," he says, and I turn. My jaw drops. Several bodies lie scattered across the parking lot, unconscious, some smoking faintly, like they were flash-burnt. Azren laughs, delighted. "Gods...look at the ruin you unleash when you come apart for me. They think I'm the threat. They obviously haven't met you yet."

I just kept digging. From noon until sunset, I dug a hole over a meter deep. Exhausted, I collapsed into the pit, staring up at the blood-red sky, letting out a weak, hollow laugh. My voice was so hoarse that it barely came out, but the despair in my laughter couldn’t be suppressed. Then suddenly, a figure appeared above the edge of the pit. I froze. I rubbed my eyes hard and then stared at that face, as if afraid it would disappear. Joy flooded my expression.

~~~~~ Daisy and her two warrior Angels flew down, fast following the rainbow fading light until they got to the forest which was surrounded by the rainbow tails. "What is Rainbow doing here?" One of the Angels asked. "That's what we are going to find out." Daisy said as they flew lower until they landed in front of the tails guarding the forest, putting back their wings inside, Daisy stepped forward first and touched one of the tails which parted and created space for them to pass. "Rainbow knows it is me, if not, he wouldn't even grant us passage." Daisy told the other two Angels as they entered the forest, the tail going back to where it was.

“Not really, I get to scout, and wander by finding a new land. You know, for pack expansion.” Angel nodded. I sit down with Angel beside me and watch with wide eyes as four massive figures suddenly sit down as well. They all look very tough with rigid postures and stern expressions. "Don't worry about them, they don't talk or do anything but follow us around," Angel assures me. When we start driving, I keep my face pressed against the window. Trees of red and gold fly by and I admire the beauty of it all. "Hey do you want something to drink?" Angel suddenly asks as we exit the forest.

The sight of a red-winged angel. "I'll kill you if you stand between Evelyn and I," Asher spoke in a powerful tone that sent fright down Evelyn's spine. He was Asher yet he wasn't. Without warning Alexander charged at Asher releasing an ear-piercing cry The banshee's piercing cries echoed throughout the forest, making the very trees shake and quiver, however, the angel stood with a resolute expression, determined to put an end to the banshee's terrorizing screams that stood between him and Evelyn.

Not many creatures ever wandered this far into the forest. Raking his fingers through his long dark hair, he turned to see the Angel sitting up and trying to catch her breath. The corner of his lips came up in a smile as he strode to where she sat. Getting down, he placed both knees on the back of both her palm which were on either side of her, pressing them flat to the forest floor so it looked like he was straddling her.

I nodded and didn't mind the slight trembling of his hand. "No problem, I like midnight drives in the middle of the forest, especially hearing the howls that aren't from our dog's neighborhood anymore," I said with a sweet smile, causing him to gulp harder and intensely focus his face in front. "Is that sarcasm?" he even asked, but I just shook my head even though it was true. Lol. But to think of it, Leaflet seems too young to be a full time servant. I mean, he just looked like a college student like me, but he said he's been working for that Harana guy for ten years already.

The Angel's eyes were not seen no more, only his evil smirk for he covered it with his hood again. "You are a liar," he grunted. "You all are!" he flashes a smile. "I am going to be waiting for all of you, watching you. And either what you'll accomplish, you will fall in an awful adventure." Amorivia didn't know what to feel. The Angel has been gone for quite some minutes now but her legs were still soft. What if she chose to be with him? Will those lonely eyes of him be replaced with something? And when she gets back to the Lost boy, should she tell him that what she thought was Peter is the Angel?
