Xavier stared at Chiara as she slept. She looked so peaceful and harmless as she slept, he never would have guessed she was a psychopath. The corners of her lips were curved in a smile and she looked angelic. The cold expression that was usually on her face was replaced with a happy expression.

Not many creatures ever wandered this far into the forest. Raking his fingers through his long dark hair, he turned to see the Angel sitting up and trying to catch her breath. The corner of his lips came up in a smile as he strode to where she sat. Getting down, he placed both knees on the back of both her palm which were on either side of her, pressing them flat to the forest floor so it looked like he was straddling her.

I nodded and didn't mind the slight trembling of his hand. "No problem, I like midnight drives in the middle of the forest, especially hearing the howls that aren't from our dog's neighborhood anymore," I said with a sweet smile, causing him to gulp harder and intensely focus his face in front. "Is that sarcasm?" he even asked, but I just shook my head even though it was true. Lol. But to think of it, Leaflet seems too young to be a full time servant. I mean, he just looked like a college student like me, but he said he's been working for that Harana guy for ten years already.

The Angel's eyes were not seen no more, only his evil smirk for he covered it with his hood again. "You are a liar," he grunted. "You all are!" he flashes a smile. "I am going to be waiting for all of you, watching you. And either what you'll accomplish, you will fall in an awful adventure." Amorivia didn't know what to feel. The Angel has been gone for quite some minutes now but her legs were still soft. What if she chose to be with him? Will those lonely eyes of him be replaced with something? And when she gets back to the Lost boy, should she tell him that what she thought was Peter is the Angel?

He would make it a better place for the unwanted and make a home for himself. Laurent was a stubborn Angel and he would make an even better Fallen.

Angel’s chest was heaving by the time he got to the dense woods framing the pit. He saw about twenty heavily armed guards surrounding the pit entrances. Mathew was there and for some reason, Angel was glad Daniel wasn’t. The addition of the pervert always made things a tad dangerous.

The light that had not stopped devouring since it was released from the orb, stopped when it met this gang. I gave him my hand as support and we both were about to get inside our car when something sharp pierced through my back. " AHH," a confused, painfully moan escaped my mouth. I turned back and saw Alberto coming towards me, behind him was Lucifer who shot the aphrodisiacs infected arrow at me. " Alberto...?" I mumbled and immediately turned back to hurry inside the car. I made Karlo seated in the passenger seat and when I myself tried to get inside, another arrow pierced through my leg.

’’ Danielle said and scoffed rubbing her manicure fingers on the arrows. ‘’you mean we are going to meet with danger in the forest?’’ the look of horror on Halita’s face made me laugh so hard that I exchanged looks with Angelica and she joined me in laughing too. ‘’what is so funny that is making you laugh like this!’’ she scoffed and folded her arms. Angelica and I exchanged looks again and burst into laughter. I rolled my eyes and pretend to stare at one of the trees while I was trying so hard to stop laughing. ‘’this is also for you.’’
