Sure enough, the other contestants were walking down the hall towards one of the larger arenas. Rainer released his stomach and joined the moving traffic next to a large rock-like and humanoid creature. It smelled like a dirty hamper but Rainer knew better than to say something. The arena was impressively large. A glass dome protected the audience, while sealing in the contestants. Dirt on the ground was rusted, and looked like it was made from crushed bits of metal.

Dominic answered pretentiously. Soon, they arrived at the fighting arenas. The place, which spanned across an area of 2.5 acres, was now packed with people. In the middle stood a round arena with a diameter of about a hundred feet. Built out of a huge bluestone cut into shape, the arena rose five feet in height and looked rather magnificent with four relic statues on four sides.

The arena is surrounded by a thick bulletproof glass that acts as a barrier for both the players and the audience so nothing gets in nor out as the game plays on.

They were about five yards wide, and the names of each arena were stamped at the back—Herb Hall, the Sosa Clan, the Webers, and the Floating Cloud Sect. Every arena belonged to one party. Bactria Express showed respect to the four founders by making sure their names were present. All four arenas were about dozens of yards apart from each other and they were built by Bactria Express. It was clear that the design had been pre-discussed, and all the arenas were set up with the same design. Crowds gathered around the arenas the moment they were set up. "Who are the defenders of Herb Hall? I haven't heard anything about them."

"Why on earth did they build an arena so far away from the court?" I shrugged, trying to shake off the nerves. "Let's go in." The arena itself looked impressive.
