Angel

Angel

I lied, well it's technically the truth. "Ain't you gonna get your lunch?" Angel asked. "I'll get it for her since she seems tired. What do you want?" Hottie asked and I told him. He got up and left to get our meals. Looking at them, I could see the slight resemblance. They both had jet black hair and adorable dimples but while Hottie had hazel eyes, Angel had silver eyes and a lip ring. "I'm sure you're now convinced I'm not an Angel?" He smirked.

As always, I love this Author! Now that the book is complete I am going to go back and read it again. Thank you so much for putting up with all of our whining about new chapters, however it's your fault for writing a book that I didn't want to put down lol! I hope life treats you kindly!!

Ex-Husband's Love Comes After Divorce

A decision he wasn’t ready to admit. A choice he wasn’t ready to speak aloud. But it was there. Solid. Terrifying. Final. He closed the box. “I’ll take this one,” Argan said quietly. The attendant smiled. “A proposal, sir?” Argan swallowed. “Yes,” he whispered. But he didn’t say the name. The name lived only in his mind. Mira.

TEMPTING THE DEFENDER

TEMPTING THE DEFENDER

He flipped the latches, revealing a thermal imaging array and a drone kit that looked more like military hardware than civilian tech. "The Board is using a new satellite network," Dante said, his fingers dancing over a keypad with terrifying speed. "They call it *Argus*. It can see the heat signature of a cigarette from three hundred miles up. If I go back with you, I can blind them. But it won't be enough." "What else?" "They’ve hired the *Sombra*," Dante said, looking up, his milky eyes full of a sudden, sharp dread. "The Spanish mercenaries. They don't use teams. They use attrition. They’ll burn the valley until there’s nothing left to defend."

Kiran turned to look at Malachi and he nodded his head as well. “Kiran Sinclair, step forth and claim the first incision,” Malachi said, and I looked at the knife in Kiran’s hand. Aegishjalmur, Valknut, Triskelion, Yggdrasil, Gungnir, and Mjolnir were etched on the handle, the symbols of our ancestors and our history.

I Don't Remeber Loving You Argon

I Don't Remeber Loving You Argon

She glanced at me, her expression a mixture of smugness and challenge, as if daring me to react. Argon cleared his throat, drawing the room’s attention. He stood tall, his posture radiating authority, though his eyes were filled with a cruel, vindictive gleam. “Father, before we begin, there’s something I need to announce.” Grant raised an eyebrow, feigning mild interest, but I could see the calculating look in his eyes. “Go ahead, Argon.” Argon tightened his grip on Ava’s hand and pulled her closer. “This is Ava Forge,” he said, his voice loud and clear, carrying an edge of triumph that cut straight through me. “My new mate.”

Alpha's Contractual Wife

he said, and finally slipped her clothes down her shoulder and saw the mark. He had been denying it up until now, but now that he had seen himself, he realized that whatever was written in the letter was correct. She was of the Argent bloodline; her mother should be the one, and by the mark, he could tell that it was not just a random one; it comes from the Royal Argent family, the most powerful one. But the question was, who made the baby’s mark invisible? Why had he not seen it until now?

Frequently Asked Questions

Wait, are you asking about the story WITHIN 'Argent' or the literal narrative called 'The Argent Story'? I've only read the web serial 'Argent' by D.D. Webb on RRL, so that's the one I know. The protagonist there is a guy named Jonathan Trent, but everyone just calls him Jon. He starts off as this kind of washed-up, cynical wizard who failed out of the fancy magical university and is basically doing grunt work for the Adventurer's Guild when we meet him. He's not your typical hero at all—more sarcastic and world-weary, but you slowly see his competence and weirdly specific knowledge come into play.

His companion, a fairy named Sheyann who's bound to his service, is almost a co-protagonist in the early parts. Their dynamic is the heart of it, with her being ancient, powerful, and deeply snarky, while Jon is the mortal trying to navigate a world full of much stronger beings. The story really follows Jon's perspective as he gets dragged into bigger political and magical conflicts, often because he's the only one who can see the arcane mechanics behind things. So yeah, Jon Trent for sure.

I will say, the title 'Argent' refers to the silver magic he eventually learns, which is this rare, pure form of arcane energy. So the 'protagonist' is also tied to him becoming an Argent, a practitioner of that magic. It's a slow build to that point, though. The story spends a lot of time on his growth from a disgraced dropout to someone wielding real power responsibly, which I found way more satisfying than if he'd just been a chosen one from page one.
