The beach stretches endlessly before us, golden sand glowing under the afternoon sun while waves roll gently toward the shore. The breeze carries salt and warmth, and for once the ocean inside me feels calm instead of restless. Koel runs past me laughing, chasing his brothers toward the water. “Last one there is a sea slug!” one of them shouts.
