The Beast Novel By Samreen Shah Novels & Stories

Out in the heart of darkness he disposed of her body by the side for the death cart to collect during their nightly ventures and took the shortest path into the outskirts of the town, bypassing alleyways ridden with figures huddled in corners, peering out at him idly from malnourished skulls. The warm rain hit the sidewalk and steamed back up, forming little eddies of mist around Gerfast’s ankles. He felt the babe shift within his jacket, its little arms flailing and its mouth turning reflexively in search of a nipple. Steam boats hoot and trudge past through the black river all alight like little cities adrift.

I stopped walking when a red-lion beast suddenly appeared and started messing around at one corner of the street. It is destroying everything on its way, emitting fire, and killing people. With one loud roar, everyone started to panic, run, and hide. "Why is there a beast here inside the kingdom?" I mumble! Suddenly, a hand or something clutched my right arm. I turned around and saw Feirro. "It's a red-lion beast. The top-7 strongest beast of all time." His voice was low, and I could see his face was a bit stunned by the beast.

“And it smells… beautiful.” Kaerith’s teeth pressed together as her hands clenched into fists in her lap, forcing a trembling breath out. Even as Rhazien spoke, Kaerith felt something far worse watching from beyond the dark. She felt a pulse. A hunger. It wasn’t Rhazien. It was the other one—the one they called the Beast. His shadow stretched across the chamber as he stood, his armor creaking. “To the court,” he snapped. The Woundmaidens seized Kaerith’s chain and dragged her toward the door, through the twisting tunnels of Murnokh, past rusted gates and bone lanterns.

"What are you trying to do?" "What can I do?" Clayton shrugged. "I'm just a lowly beastkin." No sooner had the words left his mouth than he lunged at Salem. Terrified, Salem instantly shifted into his beast form. The black wolfhound instinctively lunged at Clayton, its sharp teeth sinking viciously into his arm. Clayton was knocked into the coffee table, shattering it with a sharp crack as glass shards scattered across the floor. Salem was stunned. He wasn't expecting Clayton's move to be a feint.

We all gasped and my four spirits looked at me and the beast in surprise. The beast and I stared at each other, and I couldn’t believe what my eyes perceived. The beast definitely looks like me, the only difference between us is the color of our eyes and hair. She had black eyes, but it’s void of emotion---like you can see your painful death if you stare in it longer. Her long black straight hair that reaches her feet looks like it has its own life as it swayed on its own even if there’s no strong wind.

"You think because you're a beast now I'm afraid of you. Darling, you are still that narrow-minded girl that was easy to kidnap because no one would miss your existence. You are nothing compared to what I am." She spoke about beasts and monsters yet she couldn't see it. That your appearance didn't make you monstrous it was actions and to me, she was the biggest monster I knew. "Well I was wondering who the bitch was we caught last night," Dominque smiled as she walked up to the cell. I could smell wolfsbane coming off her strongly. "Can I be the one to kill her?" "No one is killing her," Liam said and Dominque folded her arms as she waited for him to provide a reason as to why.

The beast growled at her, and she automatically took a step backward in fear. Amarah let out a scream, immediately crouching down, raising her arms over her to protect herself, as the beast lunged at her. She felt a heavy swipe on her arm and heard another different growl. She looked up and saw another beast, this time with thick grey hair with streaks of silver and white. The grey beast lunged at the darker one, his paw swiping at it hardly. Hide! She thought she heard Matt shouting the command. She looked around to see for any signs of him but did not see him.

The beast took another eerily silent step towards him— causing his body to betray him further as he began to try harder to curl into himself and away from the beast. "Hrmmmm...WHY DIDN'T YOU DINE ON YOUR KILL?....grrrrRRR!" The beast yelled at him in a questioning manner. He thought the question over before answering, trying to be careful in what he said. "I'm not an animal-- not a wild one at least....it felt...erhm...wrong. Taboo." He said shakily as he put his head up to face at least the beasts legs. "Hmm...I think yoU're JuSt scarrrEd to embRrrace what you arrrrrre...grrrr.."

Beasty ran to the kitchen as Kelly was tired to follow she stayed on her couch looking at him from afar. " What was your Human's name? " " Bell. " " What was his Crime? " " we murdered Felix's mother, Felix didn't tell you? " Kelly was surprised that Beasty did that. " That's why he keeps you a prisoner? " " No, he kills all the criminals' werewolves and leaves the wolves as chemicals so it might come in handy, but he uses me as torture, for me and for humans. " " How cruel of him. "

“It’s the Beast…” Mongolia’s face went pale, everyone was silent. And then little by little, they heard rushing steps. A villager screamed, one by one, they flew across, being tossed out of the way, their bones broken in the process. The Shaman turned back to Accashia, pulling out the knife from her back. The beast breaks all possible bones of the villager's bodies by tossing them around. Another howl, and a tall man appeared. Red eyes, sharp claws. Long fangs and long silver white hair.
