The Beast Novel By Samreen Shah Novels & Stories

It gives him a few seconds before the hounds decide attacking is their best move. They might have gained some newfound intelligence, but Beast is smart and has had years of practice. Our eyes carry bloodlust, our bodies made for killing. Beast's claws rake a wide path across one throat and chest. It's not a killing blow, but the hound lists to the side and the other jumps around him. It's almost like he's protecting the hurt creature. Beast lets out a growl that rumbles clear to our feet and charges head-on. We clash and the hound goes to the ground with Beast on top. We grab his neck within our crushing jaws and crunch bone. The other hound lands on top of us, his snapping jaws taking a bit

I asked for something safe—pasta with roasted vegetables—while Damon ordered steak and wine like he came here often. As the waiter walked away, he leaned his elbows on the table and said, “So, Elena… what’s your story?” “Oh, you know,” I replied, trying to sound casual, “just a perfectly normal girl who nearly got run over by a truck, only to be saved by a man whose dog has a sixth sense for tragedy. Totally standard stuff.” He laughed, a deep, rich sound that made my heart weirdly ache. “Okay, fair. But what else? What do you do? What brings you to that part of town walking like a ghost?”

The beast resembled a Hyde—the kind she had seen in pictures in books……but what was standing in front of her right now? She had never seen anything like it in her entire life. The beast stood still, his eyes fixed on Akira, and she wondered why. But she didn't move; she didn't say a word. The only one she could have been talking to was stirring inside her head and had refused to speak, so she chose to remain mute. The beast finally moved, taking another step toward her, and once it did, Akira froze, her breath caught in her throat. What the hell is Lord Ragnar waiting for?

He turned me around and started to kiss my jaw and neck. He put my forehead against his. "I can't believe that I have a family. Thank you so much for giving this beast a family." he whispered. "You may be a beast, but you are my beast." I said as I hugged him The beast found his love. The end.

Looks like we have to make an emergency landing at sea. "Are you insane?!" He had no clue how many times he had had said the same thing since he had first met this crazy woman. "Why? Are you scared?" she sneered, giving him a mocking smile. "Of course not. But my Princess can not swim, damn it!" Crystal turned to look at him with a flushed face full of displeasure. Victory once again for Xander William.

Beasty is starting to look like another being in that same body. “It was quite fun actually, fooling the guy who thinks is fooling everyone.” She briskly uttered, “Well, to be honest, I was kind of curious what a DISGRACED like you can actually do, but never did I expect things to end this way, where I actually get to shed tears.” She laughed. “I am totally impressed.” Beasty added, “You are just like misery, waiting for your prey to stumble, to breaking down before you sink your teeth on its neck," she smirked. "How daunting.”

“Is inevitable. It could be kicked, buried, but it always has a way of crawling back to its roots.” “Haven’t you ever asked yourself why I’ve always been a shadow in the castle? An unseen eye that sees everything?” Jaskier suddenly uttered, picking up his words, strangely. “Trusted servant of the King, a vicious beast and a damage to humanity- “ “He’s not a beast.” I cut him off, saying in defense to divert their attention. I had to figure out a way of leaving here, with the chest. They weren’t sincere... “A beast kills without reasons, but he doesn’t. Caspian’s someone with a heart. Accord him with that respect.” I seethed, feigning to be entirely pissed.

After that, nobody tries to initiate the conversation. ************ "Why are you not having a steak little bird?" David suddenly asked in the middle of the dinner. "I am vegetarian," "For real?" I nodded my head in response. Is it that hard to believe that I am a vegetarian? "Wow, I can't believe people can live only eating grass" grass? "Stop David. Stop troubling the poor girl," Sasha scolds David, who just ignores her comment and goes back to his food. On the other hand, I can see Ivan watching me out of the corner of my eye. I ignore him wanting nothing to do with him and continue eating my food as if I don't notice him staring at me.

I flicked through the pages until I reached the centerfold, witnessing before and after pictures, and a huge mugshot of me in my graduation gown. “The animal biologist who traveled to study a rare species of wolf, has taken four werewolf brothers as her lovers,” claimed Peter Munroe. The university professor hasn’t been seen in several months and is presumed dead by his colleagues. He always knew there would be a risk of exposing the secret state of Whitehaven, and he explained as much in his tapes. “If you’re listening to this recording, that means I’m dead. The contents of my journal contain everything you need to learn about Whitehaven, the secret state that our government agreed to keep

The door opened and closed with an annoying squeak and I heard a key turn in the lock. “I must say, this is an unexpected pleasure, Victoria,” said a voice I knew yet was struggling to place. “No, don’t turn around. You haven’t earned that right, yet.” A hand seized my single plait and yanked my head back. I could smell his cologne, sickly and overpowering, as he sank his canines into my neck, close to my marking spot. No, it couldn’t be. Could it? The aroma of a particular brand of whisky was another clue as was the feel of rough hair on my skin. This was a bearded Alpha, older than most.
