The Beast Within The Greenhouse Novels & Stories

With a scary look on his face, that man was gazing at Beast. Beast ordered a table and put his hand on it. In a nick of time, the colour of the light bulb turned red and Beast turned into a butcher, who was separating every single finger from his hand. The man was screaming in pain. But Beast was standing in a relaxed posture doing his work. Similarly, he also separated the fingers from his other hand. Now it was the turn of his feet.

He looked down on me, scanned my face, neck and down on my chest that was nearly exposed from the night dress that I was wearing. “Zeke,” I whimpered. He had a weird look on his face, like a predator wanting to feast on his prey. His eyes glowed in a golden color as he lowered his head, just right above my neck. His hot breath tickled my skin and made my stomach churn. He inhaled my scent and something warm and wet left a trace on my neck. “Zeke,” I sucked in a breath, my body turning weak. He had full control of me, and it made me scared, but at the same time, it was oddly strange—that a part of me liked it.

He answered. His words made total sense. As simple as he looked, he was wise and very accurate with his intuitions. "So what's your decision father. We both know that when you cross the damn river there is no point of return." I reminded him. "Damon, That Beast is searching for a breeder. A bond and mate. If luckily Hera proves herself worthy and its instinct is drawn fully to her, it won't harm her. I don't want to think the worst that's why I still have a ray of hope that she is still alive and being kept well." He answered.

"You know he is. My brother, Andy, had you a couple of years ago and told me some stories. Did you really make that kid urinate in class?" "Yes, I did," Kat answered, her tone serious. She hadn't thought it was funny at the time. "That was the second class I taught...it's not funny," Evan only laughed harder. "Oh, I'm sure of that, especially for the poor guy. Ah, I wish I had been there—I'd love to see The Beast in action," He stopped abruptly when the waiter made his reappearance with their plates. “In here, come close, I am here.” The voice gently calls inviting her further, by which she obliges. Walking into the garden as the lightning’s light perfectly reflected the interior of the greenhouse flowers. The orchids vines with each unique variety and leaves somewhat created a trick into anyone’s eyes, for when the lightning strikes, a monster cat-like image is reflected, with a wide grin, hollow eyes, and somewhat mischievous giggle. “You’re almost there.” It hums to her together by the tone of the music box that’s getting louder and louder with each step she takes and near to the one who's calling her in.

But I definitely did not eye-rape him. "I am so sorry." I mumbled. Is the universe against me or something? "I wasn't looking and-" Okay, maybe I did a little bit of eye-raping. I mean, who could blame me? He's gorgeous. He has sandy blonde hair with some brown highlights. His face is just... pure perfection. Then I realised something that made me frown. Something that made memories of him come back. His eyes were a shade of forest green. Forest freaking green. Ashton. Oh god. I'm not even kidding, I am going to cry.

Within was a room made of glittering panels of glass, full of vibrant plants I’d never seen before. It was a greenhouse, I realized. I stepped inside, succumbing to the plethora of sweet and bitter scents when the door swung shut behind me. Once again trying to reach Draco or Azrael through mind-link, I pressed forward and ventured into the maze of plants. There were bushels of flowers in vast arrays of colors. Some shimmered and sparkled beneath the heavy beams of sunlight pouring through the rippling glass, while others changed colors entirely. Vines capped with spiked leaves crawled up golden trellises, nearly kissing the domed ceiling high above my head.

It doesn’t even look like it belongs here. Just past the fence, which is easily eight feet tall so I can’t see a thing over it, but I’m sure the top of this wonderful greenhouse can be seen by my guys and a normal sized wolf. It is a glass box framed by thick black metal supports. It probably looks like a giant spider from above with each and every wall glass or whatever clear material was used. In each pane I can see green leaves, like a rain forest is inside. The windows are streaked with water that collected from the air. It is probably the size of the room I called mine for a little while on the third floor, which is not to say it’s small, but it looks comfortable.

She’s not doing anything to rouse my suspicions, but I know if I turn my head, she’ll probably take advantage of that. My mother used to maintain the greenhouse within the gardens, but it has fallen into disrepair. I have a feeling that my mate would not mind reviving it. She does seem to like spending all of her free time outdoors. Wolf shifters are not immune to mild illnesses; if she is so determined to sit outside in the cold, she may as well fix up the greenhouse and sit there instead.

That old greenhouse had been a place of solitary refuge, built for a girl who needed a quiet place to breathe and hide from the judging eyes of the pureblood elite. This new community greenhouse was something entirely different. It was a cathedral of life, built by the joined hands of Moonrise builders and Riverlands architects. Its sheer scale was breathtaking. High, vaulted ceilings trapped the warmth of the early spring sun, while clever ventilation slats allowed the crisp mountain wind to circulate freely, bringing the scent of melting snow into the humid, earthy air of the interior.
