Alpha's Regret After I Mated to His Brother

Alpha's Regret After I Mated to His Brother

Five years ago, Damon Thorne publicly severed the mate bond and personally sent Elara Rivers to prison. On the day of her release, Damon grabbed Elara at the hospital: "Your sister Isabella has been in a car accident and needs a kidney transplant, so give her your kidney." Elara was born with a congenital heart disease, and the kidney donation would have cost her life. She refused, but he used every means to force her. On the day of the surgery, her heart suddenly stopped, and the rescue efforts were ineffective. Reportedly, the man who desperately wished for Elara's death cried at her grave day and night. Later, he saw her again, and she had already married The Alpha King Lucian (also Damon's half-brother), holding a five-year-old child, and had become Lucian's cherished and adored young wife. Damon: "I know I was wrong, please come back to me." Lucian :"Get out of here, she is my one and only Luna."

With him nowhere to be found and a persistent bloke named Ryker sniffing around her ass, the last man on earth she'd expected to save her was Alpha Kaden Kyson, whom her father loathes with every drop of his blood. She wakes up in Kaden's bed and instantly realizes she made her biggest mistake. She rejects him, only to go home finding his mark on her neck, leaving her in shock, about to beg her father on her knees when he says the last thing she expected of him. As it turns out, her father holds very strong principles on the mate bond. To him, it's the most precious, sacred bond to a wolf and one must not break it. So, he breaks his longest-time rivalry with Alpha Kaden for sake of his daughter, and arranges an alliance between the packs through marriage. Eloise is relieved of her father's decisions and gives the bond a chance. All seems to be going well, when on one fateful day, she announces her pregnancy to her father first out of excitement. But before she got to tell Kaden, pictures of her naked with another man flooded the news, bringing shame to her family and most of all, breaking her father's trust. The marriage is called off, and he announces her unfit to rule the pack and she never will. What breaks Eloise's heart even more is that her father starts beating her. Kaden refuses to see her or answer her calls. Desperate, she seeks Dex who helps her escape her father undetected, chasing that sliver of hope for new beginnings.

Love the story, writing was intense and keeps the storyline moving. I just would have like to have seen the family reunion. Overall amazing writing but be ready for some intense scenes that can trigger some of you. Happy reading!

Needs a little editing, but still really interesting. The author has a way of storytelling that helps you fully immerse yourself in the story. The FMC is the typical weak to strong, but the story has tons of potential. I hope the writer doesn't intend to rely on clichés/tropes.

My Last Breath, His Eternal Regret

I was dying of kidney failure. Henry Colombo—the ruthless Mafia heir who once swore he’d burn the world to keep me alive— found me a donor. But the price… was her. Susan Miller, the woman who’d always lingered between us, smiled as she set her terms: “Be mine for one month. Pretend you love me—and I’ll save her life.” He agreed. He said it was just to save me. But every lie, every kiss, every photo she posted online was another nail in my coffin. Each time the surgery drew near, she invented a new delay—a fever, a nightmare, a tender bruise. And Henry believed her. He always believed her. The night my heart flatlined on the operating table, he was across the city, feeding her grapes under candlelight, whispering her name—the name of the woman who had let me die. When he finally learned the truth—that every tear she shed was rehearsed, every promise she made was poison— he destroyed everything. Her lies. Her wealth. Her family name. His own empire. But none of it brought me back.
