Romans & histoires The Blind Lycan King And His Queen

Luca asked, suddenly turning his attention to Kyra. "No, my king. I would never do that. I was only trying to help, seeing that she is your maid and a former royal member of the pack" Lyra explained, unsure of the situation unravelling in front of her. "She is my wife. This is Elara Blackthorn, wife of King Luca Blackthorn and the sole queen of the Lycan Kingdom" Luca announced as I took my seat beside him, a wave of shock passing through the room. "We never knew; it is customary that we should have been informed, considering the bride is from our pack" Elder Berkeley said, and Luca laughed. A throaty laughter that shook the entire palace.

I could see that she was scared to lose me just when we had found each other. We arrived outside the gate of the Werewolf Castle and Luke kept my hand in his. Making me smile as he even placed a gentle kiss on it. Just to reassure me that we would be okay. As for whom we were here to meet, It was the Lycan King and his Queen, they ruled all the Werewolves except for the Rogues. I had only seen them briefly during that hybrid war. In their Lycan beastly forms as they decimated their enemies. They were both really powerful beings when it came to strength and speed.

After Beta finished speaking, Alpha Sebastian gestured for his Beta and Alpha Dominick's Beta to leave. "Ahem," he cleared his throat to grab everyone's attention. "The Lycan King has arrived." At the mention of the Lycan King's name, Aldrake stood up abruptly, his eyes scanning the room as if searching for an escape. "The L-Lycan King is here? Why didn't you tell me earlier?" His voice trembled slightly, revealing a hint of anxiety that he couldn't quite explain. "Forgive me, Alpha Aldrake, but didn't your Beta inform you that the Lycan King was also coming to visit?" The question hung in the air, and Aldrake's expression turned puzzled, as if he was indeed unaware of the Lycan King's visit

And now, their eyes were on me. Far away, in the icy spires of the Lycan Kingdom, King Lucian pauses mid-war meeting. His sharp nostrils flare as a scent reaches him, a royal bloodline thought extinct has awakened. His wolf stirs. His eyes narrow. Aurelia Nightbane, he thinks, and the throne room falls silent as he senses the shift that will change everything.

After all, they had agreed amongst themselves to swipe the Queen’s wrongs under the carpet because of a taste of the forbidden library and whatever nonsense she promised them. And then there was the Lycan King. He sat with his sons — all three of them, hulking shadows with gleaming eyes and expressions carved from stone. His gaze bored into me, heavy, unreadable, but unmistakably edged with threat. His sons were no gentler. If stares could snap bones, I’d be a heap of splinters in my chair. Quite strange, if you ask me, considering they claimed to want me. I swallowed tightly and tilted my head, offering the barest smile. Didn’t they like me anymore? Or had I gone too far?

“We are not saying she is… What we mean is that they are rules to follow when picking your partner, Lycan King. And you have stayed too long without a partner.” Janine cleared her throat, speaking before Alpha Dale had the chance to. “The Lycan King has a partner. A mate, chosen for him by the moon goddess herself. ”The woman’s eyes turned to me, and she spoke through gritted teeth. “The Lycan King’s mate is whom the council chooses for him. It is tradition; we all know this. A nameless girl with no background cannot and will not be allowed to be our Luna. It has never been done!

He doesn't need your approval! "I will send you to Eclipse Castle. The Lycan King is fond of you after watching your match. You will leave there as long as he wants," he uttered. "There's no guarantee that you will be coming back here…alive." My eyes widened when he mentioned the Lycan King who personified arrogance, virility and power. Everyone was afraid of him. In his prime years, he killed thousand Alphas. It was a miracle that he was the one who offered a truce but of course, all of us were still at his mercy.

His fingers are the darkest, and at the tips, vicious claws stand ready. Slowly, he brings up the clawed hand until it's looking Ragnar in the face. "I warned you," the Lycan King growls. "You do not mess around with what belongs to me." "My King—" Ragnar doesn't get to finish the words, because they morph into a shrill, ear-piercing howl of pure pain as the king brings down his claws with a bone-chilling finality. Blood splatters against the white pillar, and I turn around and press my face against Anton's chest, not wanting to see the rest.

BUt she could clearly see Rakhbar was proud of their new King because of his ability to shift into a fearsome Lycan as not many lycans could shift these days so his people were ready to cater to his vulgar desires. Just imagining it was horrible. Laylin breathed out, as her legs almost gave out. The King was probably the age of her father, she didn't want to imagine the monster she will face. She bit her lips. She had never wanted to marry this wretched King but she knew a wretched man wouldn't let her get away. He was a lycan and she had heard Lycan women bleed on his bed, what if kills her after molesting her? Her father will have what he wanted and Rakhbar won't shed a tear for her. No on

A promise that their King and Queen stood unchallenged. Veldrin cradled my face in his hands, pressing his forehead to mine, our eyes locked. His warm breath brushed against my skin as his voice was low and confident. "Forever, my mate." I smiled through the tears I didn't even notice had fallen. "Forever." "...and under the watchful gaze of the Moon Goddess, the Lycan King and his Queen united as one." Asher Blackwater's commanding voice echoes through the forest.
