Romans & histoires The Blind Lycan King And His Queen

When I was ready, I nodded for the continuation. “In the Lycan World, there are packs, and then there is the Grand Pack known as The Blue Moonlight Pack, which is basically the royal pack. In this pack is the royal family, who rule over all the Lycans in the Lycan World. There is a King, who is also the Grand Alpha Male, and the Queen, who is the Grand Alpha Female. Their children are obviously the heirs to the throne. The eldest of the children is the one that rules the throne the next,” Bennett was the one to continue before I interrupted him.

"Hybrids are protected species. Any hybrid discovered will be brought to Shadowpeak for sanctuary. Anyone who harms a hybrid will face the same punishment as harming pack." Aldric's face darkens. "You can't just..." "I'm the Lycan King. I absolutely can." Valerian's eyes flash gold. "Does anyone challenge my authority?" Silence answers him. "Good. We'll vote. All in favor of recognizing Aria Thorne as hybrid queen?" Rykker is immediately on his feet. "Aye." Kova rises. "Aye." Others stand slowly at first, then more and more. I count carefully. More than half the room eventually stands.

“Let me introduce you to King Alaric Anjou the Third. The King of all humans, werewolves, and magical creatures alike.” I nodded slowly, tracing the lines of the drawing. He looked so much like Lucien it made my skin crawl. “So he’s of French stock, too?” I asked, trying to keep my voice casual while admiring the picture. “Is that all you have to say?” Vivienne asked, her tone dripping with disappointment. “What did you want me to say?” I shot back. “I don't know—show that you're impressed! I just found out that the entity inside of you slept with the Lycan King himself. I cracked the code, Seraphina!” She threw her hands up in the air as if she had just won a marathon.

My heart impossibly shattered even more, making me stagger back as a stray tear rolled down my shocked cheeks. He hummed and waved his hands, immediately dismissing me while knowing very well that I wasn't okay with the arrangement but since when did Sullivan ever care about my opinion? I quietly returned to my room, all the while recalling every rumor I had ever heard about the Lycan king. His name was believed to be Hunter Tiberius Williams and he was cruelty in human form.

his eyebrows rose as he looked keenly into my eyes. “Hear what?” I raised my shoulders, staring back into his burning silver eyes. “The Lycan King is going to crown his Queen, tomorrow. Is the person you? Are you going to be the nation Queen?” his eyes sparkled, and the corner of his lip curved in a charming smile as he waited for my reply. I shook my head and looked away from him. “I don't know who the Queen is going to be. I didn't hear anything about the news either.” I grumbled and he puffed out air.

I heard my mate mutter under his breath. The Lycan King grabbed my hand and fell to his knees with a certain bright look in his eyes. "My Queen!"

Kaiden inhaled a sharp breath and said, “Proceed.” “People say the Lycan King is a man that has lived for over a thousand years. Even after living for so many years, the moon goddess didn't bless him with a mate. So they say he attends every banquet even if he's uninterested only because he was in search of his mate.” Oliver said in one breath. “What if his mate is from our pack?”

Symphony said as she felt the bond between them grow stronger with every syllable she spoke. She felt the air around them swirl. She saw Alexanders eyes glow red as Dax acknowledged Starlett as his mate and future queen. She waited for Alexander to accept their mate bond, nervously. “I, Alexander David Silverstone king of Lycans, accept you Symphony Marie Greywood, as my mate and future queen of the Lycans.” Alexander said to her. She felt like time had stopped. Starlett had accepted Dax as her mate.

The instant Leah crossed my mind, a burning void seared through my chest. Her name no longer brought pleasure; it only left behind... relentless pain. This is it, isn't it? I thought to myself. This is how I will spend the rest of my life. Trapped in agony. Lucian noticed me too. He shot me a dark, meaningful glance and continued, "...The Lycan King was a figure of immense strength and unyielding will, a leader who elevated our pack to unprecedented heights of power and prosperity. The kingdom thrived under his rule, but hidden beneath the surface lay dark, unspeakable secrets that now cast a shadow over his legacy..."
