Romans & histoires The Blind Lycan King And His Queen

It was about guilt too. “I just can’t be there, your majesty. Please. I don’t want to embarrass myself or you,” I explained in between sobs. “You can’t embarrass me anymore. You already did years ago, you murderer!” A knock on the door interrupted us. The door swung open and Keon stepped in. He looked puzzled at the scene before him. I wiped the tears off my eyes immediately. “What is it, Keon?” Finn asked. “The Lycan King of the Ironclaw pack just arrived,” he replied.

"It's a pack where Rozen belongs. His father is the current King of the Lycan and he is the legitimate heir. However, his half-brother proclaimed himself to be the king of the lycans, declaring war to each pack if they will not give them support. Since the war decades ago, we believe that he's been turning humans into wolves to build an army." "You mean, there will be a war again?" I covered my mouth in shock. "Then, we are not safe. Where should we go---" "Klay, I hate to say this, but wherever you go. The illegitimate lycan king will follow you to get even with Rozen." She held my hand. "You are Rozen's mate and you are his weakness." "But, I rejected Rozen!" I said. "This shouldn't have h

Bob spoke too and paused. Bill took it from there. "We will go astray," Bill spoke and paused too. Raphael took it again. "At this point, we the council of elders want to present to you all your new ruler, king Lucian Marius. His wife, queen and Alpha female Alexia." The king and queen stepped forward, waving and smiling at the Lycans. The elders went to their place, behind the king and queen. The Lycans kept cheering on and on until Lucian raised his hand up, an action that meant that they can stop cheering, and they did.

The elder nodded, signaling for Kaelven to speak his personal vows. Kaelven turned to face me completely. "Vanya, I promise to cherish and adore you, I promise to always make you smile and ensure you never suffer even a bit of grievance, Will you be my one and only queen? We will rule this entire kingdom together as equals and make all the werewolves' lives better." I smiled, my hands trembling slightly, "I do." "Now," the elder proclaimed, raising his arms. "By the power vested in me by the Goddess herself, I now pronounce you Lycan King and Lycan Queen, You may now lift the bride's veil and make her yours."

she said firmly. The old lady ignored Brinsle at first. “Lucinda’s orders,” Brinsle said. “No one is to touch him before he’s branded. And even then, he’ll be given to the virgins first.” The woman stopped at that. Her eyes were fixed on the floor. “The virgins?” she said, her voice sad. “Yes,” Brinsle replied. “He’s the Lycan King. His seed is powerful. We can’t waste it on old, dried up wombs.”

I blinked severally and dropped my head low, hoping Luna would stand by her words and throw me out. I couldn't believe that I was bound to them for life. I had no freedom? No life? “That is our final decision." "I won't let that happen. I am the Luna Queen and my words must be obeyed!” The Luna's growl brought tension into the room. Lucian faced his mother, his hands on his hips. “Have you forgotten who we are, mother? We are the Lycan kings!" He growled slowly and her eyes darkened in anger.

He looks like war and temptation decided to make a child together. But it’s his eyes that stop me cold. Goddess, his sharp eyes are violet, burning with authority. There’s only one bloodline in existence with that color. The Royal Lycans. Nikola’s voice trembles inside me. “Mate.” For the first time in the past four years I've been a rogue, I don’t know what the hell to say. The word knocks the air from my lungs. For the first time in four years of running, I can’t think. I can’t breathe.

They mostly cherish and care for their mates because if they lose them, they would forever be broken, but in reverse was the case in my situation; my mate wanted me dead, probably why he made me the royal food taster knowing how dangerous the job was. Sighing, I pulled myself up and was about to move when there was a sudden knock on the door. Knowing my bedmate, she wouldn’t knock before entering, so I was certain that she wasn’t the one. Lifting my brows and pushing up my lips, I masked my pains and presented a polite face as I opened the door. “Yes?” “The king requires your presence in his chamber,” delivered the lycan guard wolf who was standing before me. I could tell his identity from h

I stared at the spot where the King and Queen of the Lycans had disappeared into the trees, their cloaked figures melting into dappled shadows like characters from some strange fairy tale. My fingers were still tangled with Christian's, our picnic half-forgotten around us, and a laugh bubbled up from my chest - sudden, uncontrolled, slightly hysterical. The Queen of the Lycans had just invited me for tea while wrapped in nothing but a cloak, her hair wild from running in wolf form. If my mother could see me now, she'd either faint dead away or disown me on the spot. Possibly both.

Your love, Otsana. I stared at the screen, disbelief and anger flooding my veins. “You’re a monster,” I whispered. He chuckled darkly. “Call me whatever you want, my queen. But this is for the best.” He snapped the phone’s back open, removed the SIM card, and broke it in half. Before I could stop him, he placed the pieces in his mouth and swallowed them. “You’re insane,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper. He leaned in close, his breath warm against my ear. “Watch your tongue, Otsana. I am the Lycan King. I rule over all the packs in this kingdom. You will show me respect.”
