The only thing, I expected from her was loyality but, I guess I asked for the most expensive thing which she couldn't afford. I tossed and turned at the right side of my bed and took a deep breath to calm my stormy nerves. The moment, I inhaled the breath, I inhaled the scent of blood. I was still in my wedding suit, which was covered in blood. It was a strong smell. It was her father's blood. A sweet but twisted smile crept over my face. Even, though, one could smell horrible and rotten blood from my whole body, smile that was sticking on my face couldn't get off.

The large man was holding an iron pipe. Barrett stared at his own hand for several seconds. His sense of unease deepened. Earlier, his block had been slower—only slightly, but enough for him to notice. Something like that had never happened to him before. The man advanced. He attacked Barrett again. Barrett managed to avoid the blow, but his body felt even slower this time. His breathing had also begun to grow heavy. His focus blurred slightly. Barrett frowned sharply. What was happening? His eyes dropped to the beer stains on his jacket and shirt. His pupils narrowed instantly. “Damn it,” he hissed furiously. He realised everything at once. “There was something wrong with that beer.”

“P-please, you’ll kill him.” Baron paid me no mind, just kept hitting and hitting until Ben laid sprawled on the ground in a bloody mess, barely moving. I became scared when I could barely see his chest rising. Baron stepped away from him, approaching me. His face was harder than ever, his eyes riddled with anger yet to be tamed. Anger that was his wolf’s as his sterling grey had darkened to an obsidian black. When he lifted me off the sofa, the move was rough. I let out a wince.

And the blush that was barely receding was back again. "I'm not a pretty little flower, Roses are as pretty as they are dangerous." He scoffed, standing up and even from where he was standing, I could see that he'll tower over me. He straightened out his suit jacket. Eyes boring into mine. "The only dangerous roses are those with thorns Rose, and you my dear, you have no thorns. You're a pretty little flower, a harmless little flower." He walked towards me till he was standing right Infront of me, towering over me as expected, I craned my neck just too look at him. "I'll be taking my leave now pretty flower, say hi to Mr. Potter for me."

He looked like he was about to say something, but he was cut off when he started coughing violently. He spat out a mouthful of blackened blood. It made for a gruesome sight against the white carpet. Felix stared at the blood in disbelief before he jerked his head up to look at me. "Why?" I set my wine glass down and looked down at him from the tip of my nose. Hands grabbed at him, but he was relentless. “Motherfucker!” He kept punching the man and when his head lolled to the side, he turned to face whoever else was next.
