The Bone Witch Novels & Stories

Lucas took a hurried look at Bonnie and squeezes out his words frightfully, “Yes, I’m with you!” “You don’t know what you are talking about!” roared Stone with a soft snarl. He furrows his brows switching his gaze at Lucas as he continued, “You belong to us and I’m here to take you home with me!” “He’s not coming with you, walk away now or get your ass kicked.” Bonnie stood her ground like a brave lion standing tall after devouring its prey. She was a young but powerful witch. Although her white clan doesn’t kill with their powers, they can still defend themselves without killing anyone.

A slow smile stretched my lips. He thought he’d won. He thought the marking, the title, the pack’s reluctant acceptance, was the endgame. He was a child playing with fire. He’d built his little dream on top of a grave he didn’t know he was standing on. I simply reached into the pocket of my coat and pulled out a small, blackened bone flute. I put it to my lips and blew a note no human, and no ordinary wolf, could hear. She came without footfalls. The shadows in the far corner of the room deepened, and then she was simply there. The witch.

Suddenly, the silent room was filled with the sound of cracking bones, and I dragged my eyes toward it. "F*ck!" I whispered, and my mother turned her head, looking over her shoulder. A gray and black beast appeared where Xavier had been. My eyes widened, and an unrecognizable sound left my lips. It now made sense to me why I had never seen Xavier's wolf before. His body had become a skeleton with maggots crawling all over it; the witches were unable to keep him young, and his wolf was not holding up in time. Xavier's wolf turned to face me, his purple eyes gleaming against his skeletal frame.

he told the blonde wolf, though his gaze was tracing the dirt smeared on my cheek. "She needs to survive the change, Alpha," Elara countered, though she dipped her head respectfully. "If her body isn't ready for the break, the bone-song will kill her." "She's ready," Jax said softly. He reached out, his thumb brushing the split in my lip.

The face I saw in the mirror made my heart slip. Silver black hair fell in waves around sharp cheekbones and violet flickered behind icy blue eyes that were not mine. It looked like a lady named Elowen Solenne. I… everyone knew that name. She was a lone witch who lived on the edge of the territory, never came to gatherings, and never bowed to the pack. She was supposed to be dead, as rumoured. And here I was wearing her skin. I touched my cheek and the lady in the mirror did the same. My breath fogged the mirror.

he replied. As we walked, there was background music, a heartbeat to be exact. It's not scary, maybe because we have a flashlight? or it's really boring because the organizer uses the same tricks such as the sudden appearance of a skeleton or whatever. I thought it was scary because they have nice props, they are using something that truly looks like blood, and the sound effect suits the place.

CHAPTER 1 PILOT Clara’s POV: MY NAME IS Clara Peterson and what you are about to read is the story of my life. However before we delve into the story proper, let me introduce you to my squad. We are more like a family. You dare one of us and you are taking on all of us. There is Ray Glazebrook, my boyfriend or anyways, soon to be boyfriend. He is a werewolf. Infact, he is the Alpha of a werewolf pack called the Kraits. He is immortal and very powerful. Then we have my best friend, Janet Johnson or as I like to call her JJ. She is a witch with the powers to control and manipulate storms. This means she can control lightning. We then have Ethan Vanderbilt, the only hybrid amidst us. He is both

They wanted to combine species and create the ultimate race. Melanie is a product of their experiments. She survived when no else had and for all intents and purposes was a success. She is a witch with the dna of a wolf. When she gets mad, her eyes shine with an amber hue and her magic takes the shape of a wolf when used. She is strong, physically and magically. However, she still carries the emotional damage from that time. It doesn’t bother me though. I have baggage of my own that she also knows about. We help each other, and she is my best friend and confidant.

She knew she couldn't rely on that flake. “Ugh, I bet she’s off dancing to some spirits.” Isolde frowns and swishes away the connection. What is she going to do now? She doesn’t know any other doctors who specialize in supernatural beings...well, except Noime. Bang Bang She jumps at the pounding on the door. “Witch.” “Witch.” Shit! She needs to do something, or Rivk would have her head. She didn’t get away from that bastard warlock just to get herself killed by another man.

Where did that come from? "Our practice is generally limited here, due to the Alpha of the werewolves.", says Rachel leaning closer, in a quiet voice, almost like a whisper. "The most powerful witch in the town is Lord Loucas, he owns the funeral home downtown. He is a bone witch, as most are in his coven. The rest of us are good for fortune telling and some protection spells or jars."
