I Beat Horror With Feelings

I Beat Horror With Feelings

I followed his gesture and saw Adonis curled up in a corner, completely still. A monster... Scared of fighting? I walked over and tapped his shoulder. "Hey? Adonis?" He turned around. The skin on his face had turned charred black, his features burned away completely. Staring at me with two empty sockets, he asked hoarsely, "Are you here to hurt me too?" For some reason, my chest suddenly tightened. His burned face was horrifying, but I wasn't scared at all. I gave him a small smile. "You didn't do anything wrong. Why would anyone hurt you?"

BOUGHT BY THE BEAST

BOUGHT BY THE BEAST

I bucked her off, rolled to my feet. The crowd's roar intensified. Morgessa stared at her bleeding arms with shock. "You're stronger than you look." "Surprise." She came at me again. But this time I was ready. I met her strike with my own. Claws against skin. Strength against strength. We traded blows. Fast and vicious. She had experience. I had desperation. And through the bond, Caspian was feeding me everything he had. His knowledge of combat. His instincts. His raw power.

Rock It Out, Book of Abel

Rock It Out, Book of Abel

“Leaving so soon, beautiful?” My composure hangs by a rapidly fraying thread. I stomp past Raze who is lounging on the sofa. “Bye, Raze. It was nice to meet you.” “What about me?” Gabe has drumsticks in his hands, pounding out a beat on the edge of the table. I open my mouth, probably to say something insulting, but am interrupted when a trio of slutastic women hop on the bus. “Ladies! We’ve been waiting for you!” Raze calls out.

RESCUED HEART

RESCUED HEART

' She touched his cheek gently. I have.' He patted her hand 'Were you reading?' 'I was about to.' She returned her attention to her book. 'What's the name of the book?’ 'It's a collection of short stories entitled 'A Battle of will'.' 'A Battle of Will,' he repeated, taking the book from her. 'Have you read it before?’ 'I have, it's very interesting.' She said enthusiastically. 'Really?’ 'Very Much.’ 'Mmh, can you read it aloud for me?' He smiled his eyes twinkling. 'Sometimes, I like to listen to others read. And your sweet voice will add to the pleasure.'

Too Late, Alpha: The Mate He Never Wanted

Too Late, Alpha: The Mate He Never Wanted

I would be fine. I made it to the library without any delay, then began grabbing books that looked interesting. “Finding everything okay?” the librarian, Beatrice, asked as I was picking. Beatrice was a small, soft-spoken omega who always had a small smile on her face. I forced a smile. “Yeah, I just needed to get new books. I’ve finished the ones I got before.” She tapped a finger on her chin thoughtfully. “Try those ones over there. They are quite interesting.” She advised.

I loved this book! It was emotionally rich, unpredictable, surprising, soothing and everything you’d want in a book. The adventure and journey was incredible and the wording made it come alive without it needing its own movie. Thank you again, C Emmzy! It was a pleasure to read!

To Breed a Beast BOOK 2

To Breed a Beast BOOK 2

As a single tear rolled down her cheek, her aura collapsed entirely, and she fainted straight onto the stone floor in front of the throne. The sudden fracture of protocol shocked the assembly, causing dozens of enforcers to draw their weapons as the crowd pressed forward. "Corrie Bates!" Brook shouted, his reaction delayed and clumsy as she hit the concrete. Unlike my wolf, who would rather choke on blood than show weakness to an enemy, Corrie lay perfectly still. In that exact moment, a profound, freezing disinterest washed over my system.

Matched (Mortal, Book Three)

he asks, his hand hovering over my arm. I nod, unable to meet his gaze. I'm still so embarrassed that I literally shouted my feelings for him, and I don't think even the most extreme life or death situation will erase that. Damon brushes dust off his pants. "Well, that was fun." "Fun?" Elena scoffs. "That was terrifying!" Damon shrugs. "Hey, it's not every day you get to fight off giant beetles with your bare hands." I can't help but laugh, the adrenaline still pumping through my veins. "I guess you're right."

Blood and Betrayal

Blood and Betrayal

I thought of the world that was currently waking up to a silence it didn’t understand. But as I felt that tiny, second heartbeat pulse against my palm, I didn’t feel like a fugitive. I didn’t feel like a victim of a global conspiracy. I felt like an Architect. The first book was about the blood. It was about the betrayal and the breaking of the old world. It was about the trauma of the glass and the roar of the mountain. But the second book? The one we were starting right now, in this quiet French valley? That book was going to be about the Home.

Signed, Sealed, Betrayed

Signed, Sealed, Betrayed

In my dreams, he was significantly less brotherly. Meeting him was the first time I understood what 'chemistry' actually means. Every time he was in the room, I wanted him on me. My underwear would soak through. But we had not crossed a line. I was still single. So when the itch came, I had to settle for filth on my laptop and my own frustration. The last few days, because of Prime Day, my shop had blown up. Brandon had been by twice in one day, hauling boxes out of my apartment.
