Claimed by his obsession

Claimed by his obsession

I looked out the window and thought about nothing in particular which was a skill I was relearning after years of not having the luxury. The hotel was small and old and the wifi was genuinely terrible which felt like a promise kept. We dropped our bags and went out immediately because the bookshop closed at seven and I was not going to Edinburgh and miss the bookshop. It was exactly as I remembered. Three floors. Narrow stairs. The smell of old paper hitting you the moment you pushed the door open. Books stacked in ways that suggested a system only the owner understood. A cat asleep on the poetry section. Damien stood just inside the door and looked at all of it.

The Victorian Society of Strange Ocurrances

The Victorian Society of Strange Ocurrances

The construction had two rooms and both of them allowed a perfect view of the other, it had a double size bed and it was covered in dust a couple of bags on the floor…nothing of big notice with one exception: an empty bookshelf, with the exception of one book. The former trainee policeman grey matter was now working: If the cabin of a former druid was considered a haunted place wouldn’t all books be there? No one walks into haunted houses deliberately even less to take the books, let alone one. Thomas walked to the bookshelf and held in his hand the only remaining tome, it didn’t look as covered in dust as the rest of the items left…someone was here not too long ago and left this behind as a

Allure Of Darkness

Allure Of Darkness

Author's POV Mikhail stood in front of the hotel which was deserted. He somewhere had a feeling that this place has connection with all the mysteries. The creepiness of the place was always suspicious. "Hotel Hywala!" Jeh read the name sign which was falling off. "This looks like a haunted house. Where is everyone? Why is this hotel in such a bad condition? It's a beautiful place, why is the owner wasting this property?" He looked at the beautiful greenery around.

I'm so recommending this book to everyone who's here for quality reading. The plot, the writing, the flow, the suspense and of course the romance, God it's a Chef kiss. It's hard to find books that holds interest till the end, and THIS definitely hit the mark. An absolute 10 on 10 read!!

She's Moved on With Someone New

She's Moved on With Someone New

He felt a pang of bitterness while he said shamelessly, "I didn't book a room." Alanna paused. All the hurt and sadness vanished instantly. "Then go and book a room!" "This hotel is fully booked," Hades answered without missing a beat. Alanna glared at him. "Do you think I don't know that this hotel always keeps a spare room? Also just because this hotel is fully booked doesn't mean the other hotels are. Did the great Mr. Florentine fail to find a hotel room?" Hades laughed. "Ally, are you afraid that I'll do something? You're currently pregnant. I've already asked the doctors. They said it'll take another three months before…"

ADDICTIVE LOVE

ADDICTIVE LOVE

She had been here for almost three months and she had still not seen the whole house. After a refreshing bath. She went around the house. There were so many rooms. What did he need all of them for? He never had guests around. She finally found his library. It was enormous. She walked from shelf to shelf pulling out books and looking at covers and titles. Maybe she would find something she might like. She had no phone and it seemed like no one ever watched the TV. His books were mostly business and management. She did find a reasonable number of books on sex and male domination. Was obvious he was the BDSM type of person. Seemed she too had a secret kink for it. She even found all 7 volumes o

Love in the Storm

Love in the Storm

By the time we finished our tour of the house, it was 1:30. Lileth had prepared us some amazing sub sandwiches and a delicious fresh piece of cantuccini biscotti. It tasted like heaven when it was still warm. The house consisted of a multitude of rooms and the majority had ensuite bathrooms, 2 libraries, one of which was my mother’s and had all of her favourite books in it, the other was more of a reference library but had some novels if people chose to read. Downstairs to the back of the house was a sauna, gym and a pool with jacuzzi off to the side of it. It was also enclosed in a conservatory type building so that you could see the outdoor pool and garden.

I Love You Like an Alcoholic

I Love You Like an Alcoholic

July 5th, 1998. A rundown hotel in the middle of nowhere. Creaking stairs and molding books, nails sticking from the floorboards leading to the basement and dust covering shelves head to toe. Two maids and one person sitting idly at the counter of the hotel. Shelves for keys, locked behind small cupboards. The man at the counter quaintly reading his book, flipping each page, some stained in oil. One of the maids sitting idly on one of the old ripped up couches with a rat in her hands, slowly petting it with a bored expression melted on her face. The other made robotically cleaning what she could by herself, not even breaking a sweat in the hundred-degree weather.

Lycan's Beta Lover

Lycan's Beta Lover

But it's capital; if you have money, there's no way you will have to sleep on the street. Just like how open and large this city is, there are many places, inns, and hotels to stay in. “I have read in the books that you can book a house to stay in. I think it's called a hotel or inn.” The three of them looked at her with surprise. “You have only heard of the hotel? Have you never stayed in one?” Ashley asked. “I was never allowed to leave the house. I never went out of the village.” She said without thinking much.

Yearning for Her Return

Yearning for Her Return

In comparison to hotels back in her home country, this establishment was more of an ordinary inn. It lacked any distinctive features, and, in fact, the décor was quite ... rustic. Even the grand architecture failed to escape the gloominess that settled into every corner over time. Nevertheless, it was considered the best hotel in the area. Even the lounge area was equipped with books. Rebecca casually selected a book and settled into a nearby seat. Perhaps due to Caleb's prior arrangements, the hotel reception treated her exceptionally well. They even served her a delightful afternoon tea. The coffee was intricately decorated with latte art, and the pastries were elegantly presented in a thr

Ellen Addawe
I like the depth of this book, the character of the FL wherein she learns a lot in her life experiences, her moving on from the past and enjoying her life in the present. Not the typical love story wherein after all the heartaches, betrayal & rejection, still the FL gives the ML a second chance.
Blessing Sam-somanya
I stopped reading this book the moment Rebecca got married to someone else and Daniel is dying of late stage cancer, after all he suffered in the hands of his evil brother and family, I expected a happy ending for him and Rebecca but the writer chose other wise. He doesn't deserve this tragic ending

Twist of Fate

Twist of Fate

I looked to the left when I heard my Dodge Charger approaching the front of the Azure Hotel. The Azure Hotel was owned by my family and named after my mother. I often used the hotel when conducting business or when having an event. There were three restaurants with one on the roof, four conference halls, two bars, twenty private rooms for dinner parties or other smaller events, and five banquet halls. The largest banquet hall was on the lower level, while the others were scattered on different levels.
