I'm not sure what happened earlier, but I do know that Xander is assisting me in discovering who I am in addition to helping his curiosity. As I look at this book, it just doesn't seem normal. How did he even get hold of this? I'm not sure. Yet I can tell that everything is related to him because everything here may be about mythical or legendary creatures like vampires, werewolves, witches, or even magicians as they call them.

Once the image of the wolf formed completely, Alpha Zane's eyes suddenly closed, and he fell to the floor. Kane came forward, but the priestess raised her hand to stop him. The ritual wasn't complete yet. She closed her eyes and continued with her chants, the fire growing bigger and bigger. I never knew there were so many other mythical creatures in this world except for the mages, dragons and wolves. Within two hours of sitting here and flipping over pages, I've learned much more than I did in the last twenty years. I lowered the book that was covering my face down to my lap gently when I heard the library door open. Footsteps echoed in the calm silent room and the voices of males talking reached my ears. "Be Fast!" hissed a voice that sounds quite familiar. I held my breath in fear that I might be caught eavesdropping on their conversation.

The memory of the alleyway and the beasts remained a haunting presence over the next few hours: becoming an obsession. I found myself scouring the book for any scrap of information I could find.
