My wolf is pushing for control and she runs. He forces the shift and so does Atticus. We chase after her. I run through the forest and stop in front of her. Her eyes are wide and she is like a deer caught in headlights. I growl at her and she is terrified. Atticus comes to my side and he whines. She looks between the two of us. Her fight or flight has kicked in, but she is rooted to the spot. Her breathing is laboured. She frantically looks between us, she screams. I have no choice but to shift back.

Paul replies and hangs up. Leaving my car at the airport, I run to the woods. Once I'm past the tree line, I shift mid-air, jumping over a log. I plant my paws on the ground and let out a howl.
