A light fog moved through to the end of the corridor to the balcony pushed by the draft. It seemed to be illuminated by whatever remained of the Guardian’s presence. It moved and swirled towards the Remembrance Cave. She stood in the empty corridor. Even the draft through the corridor, that made her shiver, seemed to push her forward.

In the slight delay in their movement. Fear. Not of me. Of what I represent. Unpredictability. Disruption. Chaos. Good. I use it. Explode outward. Break two grips. Shift weight. Drive forward. One step. Then— stop. Because something changes. The room— goes silent. Completely. The figures freeze. Mid-motion. Mid-action. Mid-control. Everything— stops. My eyes narrow.
