The Christie Affair Novels & Stories

“Adolf, what’s going on?” “We have a problem,” Adolf began, his voice grave. “I received an email, anonymously, detailing Christine’s misconduct. If this is true, and the media gets wind of it, BTG is finished.” Mark’s jaw tightened on the other end. “You can’t believe everything you read in an anonymous email. Christine is being targeted, Adolf. This is her sister's doing, I’m sure of it. How many times do I have to tell you that?” Adolf hesitated. “Even if that’s the case, the evidence is convincing. Investors are already questioning our ties to Christine after the HB Industry scandal. If I don’t act, the fallout could be catastrophic.”

Mondrian contemplated for a little while then nodded, “That means I have more time to cherish you. So what do you say, Celene?” I am about to speak, when Alex stepped forward, his expression apologetic, “I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Christoff is still very much at large, causing chaos and dealing with black magic, wouldn't it be better if he is taken care off first.” My face paled, his word struck a nerve, in the chaos that was Mondrian's death experience I had forgotten about Christoff and his actions against me. Mondrian seemed to sense my turbulent thoughts, his arms wrapped around my waist holding me into his embrace as he whispered into my ears, “Are you okay? Do you wish to

It was no longer the digital watch Fiona had once given me, but a rare antique timepiece I had personally acquired. … Once the event wrapped up, Frank handed me a copy of the latest financial headlines from back home. The front page read, "Disgraced Tycoon Fiona Wainwright Now Living on Welfare". The photo captured a frail, hunched woman, her hair streaked with gray. Clutching a half-empty bottle of cheap liquor, she gazed blankly at Quantum Group's towering billboard across the street. The irony cut deep. There she was, kneeling before my billboard like a penitent seeking forgiveness.

he said clearing his throat. "So why are you looking at me through the mirror, I can see you, you know that right?" I said raising my brows. "I'm sorry for staring Mrs Martinez" he apologized. He kept his eyes on the road this time and I tool the time to checked him out. He's very muscular and handsome. Latoya you are married remember that and you can't have an affair, your husband will kill you. He's a jealous and very ignorant Mexican so be careful what you're thinking. My inner self blurt out at me which slapped me to my senses and I stop staring. Carlos would definitely kill me if I cheat on him.

he said. "It was my first and best Goa trip of my life as well," I said. "What will happen to Omar now?" I asked. His expression changed to disgust " I hope he rots in hell! They found several of objectionable images of his mobile. He sells them to porn websites and even blackmails the girls. So he is going in for a long time." "And we trusted him! " I said. "World is a bad place Aarya we shouldn't trust anyone so easily." He said and yawned. None of us had slept last night and Ishaan was tired. He placed his head on my shoulders and dozed off.

“See, this is what I’m talking about. If I’m going to confide in you, I need you. I need Wren, my best friend. Not Wren, West’s brother. Which means this stays between me and you. Can you promise me that?” “I promise.” One thing I could count on was that Wren always kept his promises to me. “West didn’t really do anything to me. It’s that this key thing and me not wanting to move in with him has him accusing me of…of fooling around.” The tone in Wren’s voice was a combination of anger, surprise, and disgust. “He accused you of cheating on him? Cath, he’s known you forever. He should know that you would never do that.”

Clandestine Affair, book 1 of Affair Duology, is finally completed! This is the first novel I’ve completed so far and it is a long and hard journey as procrastination always gets the best of me. I enjoyed writing this and I will start writing book 2 of the Affair Duology as soon as I finished editing and revising book 1. All the revelations will be revealed and explained in the second book. If you came to hate Vishnu in the first book, his actions would be justified (I hope so) in the second book.

"But she..." "I'm not getting married to her!" Ferguson said firmly, leaving his sister no room to argue. She heaved a frustrated sigh. "Well, you need to do something, you can't or shouldn't keep Claudia waiting for nothing more than a heartbreak" She reached for her bag that she had earlier kept at the foot of the table, then catwalk towards the door. "Claudia's innocent in all of this" she added before walking out the door. Ferguson slammed the door shut after her, he took long and angry strides towards his chair. His eyes landed on a white fluid at the far edge of his desk, he reached for his handkerchief and wiped it.

he said matter-of-factly. "What?! That tart!" Christie shouted, nearly at the top of her voice. "I knew it, I knew it! All this time playing the innocent girl, and look what she was, a trollop who'd sleep with anyone. But surely that's not what's got you crying?" "I've already told you it has nothing to do with Adele!" Christian stopped her again. "I'm just telling you what I remembered." "All right, don't get upset. If it's not about what happened with her, then why are you crying like this?" Christie continued to probe, curious about everything she had wondered all this time. "Wait, first tell me how you ended up here that night."

“May God strike me dead should I ever live to see that day!” “If God can guarantee that, I’ll go find the chaplain right now,’” Sebastian offered. Mr. Burke glared at me. “Are you his wife, or not?” “Um… in my defense, I didn’t actually say I was his wife… somebody else did that,” I said feebly. “Snitch,” Sebastian whispered in my ear. “You’ve broken the law,” Mr. Burke said officiously. “This is a very serious – ” Apparently, when Sebastian was in trouble, he figured a good offense was the best defense. “I think it’s more serious that your doctor has violated HIPAA and revealed extremely personal patient information – ”
