I slammed my fist on her table, making her panic. "Her boyfriend broke her heart so she is mentally unstable and she is nursing her heartache." She looked at the floor, fear evidently written on her.

Then my gaze was forced again to stared at his wrist as he let it touched my lips. As I can't resist the temptation I feel, I suck it out until I was full. His blood tastes so savory. I burped, as I felt satisfaction. But then I suddenly feel disgusted. I quickly stood and moved away from Kill. "Sh*t! It couldn't be." I gulped as I held my neck then next to my lips. My eyes darted to his wrist that was already healed. "You can't live with another blood but only mine, Carnelian," he said as he fixed his pocket knife then hide it behind his pants. "It is the mode of the contract. You are linked to me, Night."

I widened my eyes and stare at him feeling shocked , and then I felt a sharp pain on my chest , I held my chest and wince in pain. "Are you okay?" He asked and stood up in an attempt to walk to me. "No, I'm fine. Don't worry.. what do you mean Acute heart failure?" I asked him as I try to calm myself down. "Acute heart failure is a sudden, life-threatening condition in which the heart is unable to do its job. The heart is still beating, but it cannot deliver enough oxygen to meet the body’s needs. This condition requires emergency medical care." He explained to me.

“You’re just so contradictory, girl. Didn’t you say for yourself how skeptical about the idea of being a contract girlfriend to a man? Tell me, is there any sort of intimacy involved in the contract?” “Apparently, no. And one of the terms states that I must not have any feelings whatsoever for him.
