The Cursed Alpha And His Forced Luna Novels & Stories

The moment a rogue killed my father the responsibility of becoming alpha fell onto me, I was eighteen then and was more than ready for the challenges of becoming the alpha of the Grayriver pack. Our kind is meant to find their fated mates at the age of eighteen, but honestly, the hype didn’t really live up to the expectation. I always thought that meeting my luna would mean that I would find my other half, the one I couldn’t live without. But honestly midway through my year of being eighteen, I kind of gave up on the whole idea of it all and just decided that fucking my way through the she-wolves of other tribes was way more fun than being settled with just one luna.

“And I will. The Moon Goddess doesn’t make mistakes, Luna. You are my mate. This child is my child. And I will not let anyone take you away from me.” Luna stared at him, stunned. “The pack will never accept me, Alpha,” she said quietly. “I’m wolfless. I’m nothing. They’ll laugh at you. They’ll think you’ve lost your mind.” Alpha Asher’s eyes flashed red. “Let them laugh,” he said quietly, his voice dangerous. “Let them think whatever they want. I am the Alpha. What I say goes. And I say that Luna Monroe is my mate and the mother of my child.”

Stood at the shelf and put my hands flat on the wood and breathed. Alpha Zara Mensah. Tall and lean and beautiful in that quiet way and she had said his name like something familiar and smiled at him like something that had history in it and called their relationship complicated and was going to be sleeping two floors above us for the next few days. I was not insecure. I was not the girl who came here with one bag anymore. I was Luna of this territory. The bond was locked. The ring was on my finger. But she had known him since before he was Alpha.

for the first time. I sat down on the bed, keeping my eyes glued to the door...waiting fot it to open. Hours passed...the sun started setting outside and yet there were no signs of Orion. I was ready to storm out but the same crackling sound stopped me. I opened the letter from Rose. *The Alpha is back. But they are hiding the truth from you. The Alpha announced there is only one cure for Shadow Moon....a new Luna. They are doing the ceremony tonight to make Chelsea the new Luna.*

I nodded, waiting for their next response eagerly. "Yes, he was killed by his Luna who was always helping him during the wars. That's the relevant part. How many wars did you lose, Alpha Kai?" Elder Bard asked again. "None. I lost battles but not wars. Thanks to Lorenzo's power." I kept looking at them one after the other. "The same Lorenzo that is your Luna. Alpha Reese locked his Luna, Freya, who always helped him to win his war, in his closet, she escaped and came back with a witch to kill Alpha Reese," Elder Bard relayed pathetically.

His brother, the Alpha, was aware, and though this was punishable to the extent of getting murdered, he knew to keep quiet and accept whatever came his way. He couldn't get that day off his mind. How he had been shattered. He had approached Luna's chambers and barged in, uninvited. She was half-clad, but if at that moment she was mad at Oswald for stepping in the way he did, she didn't show it. She was six months gone, her protruding belly looking more alive than the last time he had taken time to notice.

He squeezed my hand gently, a silent reminder that I wasn’t alone. I stepped forward, my voice carrying through the hall even though my heart was pounding. “I know there are doubts. I know Liora’s words have shaken some of you. But I stand here today as your Luna — not because I took someone’s place, but because I chose this pack. I chose to stay when I could have run. I chose to fight beside your Alpha when the curse tried to break him. The moon chose me. The bond chose me. And I choose all of you.”

Just the sound of water dripping somewhere in the dark. "There's something else." Lyra's breathing was getting labored. "Something I didn't tell you." "What?" "The rejection. When that Alpha broke the mate bond." Lyra's eyes were starting to glaze. "It didn't just crack the seal. It activated something." "Activated what?" "A failsafe. Built into the original curse. If a Luna's mate rejects her, if she suffers that kind of betrayal—" Lyra coughed. More blood. "The seal is designed to break completely. To unleash her full power. Make her unstoppable."

The word Alpha doesn't mean whoever becomes the alpha there… but specifically for Charles, and the word Luna doesn't survive… means whichever woman will be the next luna in the pack.
