Alexa just smiled. Dark was just standing outside the house he's about to collect. This is the second to the last he will pick up and deliver for today. He observed the whole house from his vantage point. It was not big, it was not made of stone but this home was very memorable to Dark. He still remembers the first time he landed in that place. Flashback Dark stands by the window, he will fetch the woman who will die of serious illness. According to the woman's record, she is only 23 years old, she has uterine cancer and it has only been a few weeks since they married her husband who is 25 years old.

Four figures stepped into my path, immediately blocking the narrow road. Vera stood triumphantly at the front, like a queen arriving at her long-awaited coronation, her lips curved in a smile sharp enough to skin me alive. “Well, look who it is,” she purred, drawing out the words. “The pitiful slut who stole my mate and destroyed my wedding plans.” Her voice was honeyed poison. Lilian and the other two cronies stood behind her, arms folded tightly, smirking like they were settled in to watch an excellent show.

"What do you mean it's your house? This is our marital home. Half of it is mine. If you had any decency left, you'd hand it over willingly. And don't even think about tattling to my mom. I earned this after all these years of being married to you." Anger burned through me. He still dared to bring up his mother. My eyes stung red as I forced the words out. "You still don't know who died on that operating table, do you?" Andrew scoffed. "Why should I care? The patient's already dead. Now, get out unless you want to watch me and Jenny enjoy ourselves." She gripped the arms of the chair so tightly that her knuckles went white. Didi leaned forward slightly, eyes glinting with a mixture of triumph and malice, as if savoring Vera’s torment. “Even you can’t question love, can you, Vera?” Her voice was both taunting and poisonous. “Love doesn’t wait. Love doesn’t care who it hurts. Love… just is.” Vera’s chest tightened. “So you… took my husband from me? Stole my home? My clothes? Everything I own?” Her voice trembled with fury and disbelief, each word like fire ripping through her chest. “All because love doesn’t wait?”

I put my hand above the piercer and looked up at him. "You know why I own the biggest mafia? Because empty and baseless threats like these don't faze me" His eyes opened in shock "So you rather I kill your wife?!" It was clear my response angered him "Go ahead" I stood up and dived forward catching Vera in my arms we rolled on the ground as explosions erupted everywhere. I shielded her and she clutched unto me as the sounds echoed round the room. Soon the place was engulfed in flames and I looked down at Vera.

I couldn't move anymore; she excitedly stood up and hugged me. "I freaking missed you, my dearest cousin!" I closed my eyes as her scent lingered in my nostrils—sweet and delectable. Fuck! I immediately opened my eyes, which widened in response to what I had just thought. As I looked down at my cousin's neck. It was very exposed. I'm not sure what's wrong with me. I can see right through it. I can see her veins. I can see her blood. I can see the placements. I felt dizzy again and held her back, knowing that it was the only way I could retain my sanity. I pushed myself to calm down by closing my eyes again and taking a very deep breath.

He demands answers, "What are we celebrating, ladies?" "When she was your wife, you chased other women." Vera's voice dripped contempt. "Now that she belongs to someone else, suddenly you want her back." She tilted her head. "Is this a kink for you? Are you just a serial cheater who can't help himself?” "Don't talk about things you don't understand." Adrian's voice rose. "I never cheated on her. Never.”

Dark Raven smiled and then secretly looked at Khrystyanna's direction. "Sophia, Santa, Anastasia, Louise, Venus and Zafrina… your presence lightens up my mood. I am grateful for your presence in my humble abode." He greeted the girls. But the girl's eyes are locked up with the cold-expression Khrystyanna who is standing beside Dark Raven. "This is the beloved wife of my second son, Damian. This is Lady Khrystyanna Solano." He introduced them with some winks to the girls while trying to lock Khrystyanna in his arms, but failed.
