"Johnny, I see putting you in that bastard's place wasn't a mistake at all. You didn't disappoint me." The man remarked. "You managed to steal the very key to all of the Morano asset. And who is this little lamb you brought with you?"

Johnny let out, placing a hand on mine on the table, "it will all be fine." Despite feeling scared, I couldn't help but notice his touch was kind, as though someone had injected a dose of serenity into me through his touch. Sitting right there in my little bookstore, watching as customers went through the shelves and tried to figure out how the books were organized, I listened to Johnny. His presence now had an ominous vibe that sent chills down my spine. "It's a lot to take, but we will figure it all out," he continued, his hand still on mine.
