Until the end Of time

Until the end Of time

19 August 2020 Until the end of time Chapter 7 A man was leaning back on a luxurious sofa, his eyes staring straight at the television screen showing an action drama, but he smiled to himself not because of the scene on TV but because he imagined what happened in the hospital earlier when the doctor was about to examine him, the doctor was even very He was surprised to see that the results showed that he was in good health, of course for him there was nothing surprising because in fact it was his brother who was sick, not himself, he was only a temporary replacement.

Between Breathe And Goodbye

Between Breathe And Goodbye

It was a local ordinance in a universe that had learned, through the stubbornness of mortals, to generate new laws. "The debt is not mine to pay alone. It belongs to the weave. To every soul who ever refused your either-or. You demand a replacement? Then take the replacement that has already been offered. Take the love that has already been surrendered. Take the weight of every cowrie, every link, every whispered refusal across the ages of your darkness. The debt is paid. It was paid before I was born. It was paid by the woman whose name was burned from the records. It was paid by the boy who ran through your collapsing corridors. It was paid by the conductor who loved your thresholds enough

An Unfounded Debt

An Unfounded Debt

"Of course. How could you ever bear to cut ties with Jocelyn, someone you see as a walking ATM?" Seeing that I was still denying it, Mom's face turned frosty as she scolded me. "Debts must be repaid! It's only right and proper! Yara, where's your conscience? Stop agitating your sister. She's sacrificed far too much for you in this lifetime." Looking at my own mother's hypocritical expression, I no longer wanted to waste another second. I took out my ID card and handed it to the judge. "Please log into the Ministry of Education's student registry system and check. The truth will be revealed."

Their Debt for My Heart

Their Debt for My Heart

“Zinnia was such a good kid. She always studied until the last minute before going back to the dorm. Once I mentioned I was hungry, and she gave me her boxed meal without a word. “She had a heart condition. I took her to the hospital several times. She only had an old flip phone and couldn’t transfer money, so she paid me back with cash she earned herself. “And you call her a liar? You killed her!” Mom stumbled, her mind growing more and more muddled.

Ninety-Nine Debts

Ninety-Nine Debts

Another beat passed. "And will the Alpha even allow it? Everyone in the pack knows how much Alpha Garrick Whitefang dotes on you. He has never been willing to let you out of his sight. Seven years ago, you gave up your post as an Archivist for him and became his Luna. Are you truly ready to walk away now?" My chest twisted as if it had been cut open. The pain was sharp, but my resolve cut deeper. Only one thing held me back: how to tell him the truth.

The Debt Collector's Price

The Debt Collector's Price

The room is suffocating. "My greatest sin wasn't that day," he says quietly. "It was the six years after. Finding your name in that debt portfolio. Recognizing it. Choosing you specifically because I felt guilty. Then lying about it. Making you sign a contract. Letting you believe I was your savior when really I was just trying to buy absolution." "If you could go back—"

SEVEN NIGHTS WITH MY STEPFATHER

SEVEN NIGHTS WITH MY STEPFATHER

He had an accent, thick and Eastern European, the kind that made every word sound like a threat. I froze in the bedroom doorway, clutching my robe closed. My mind raced, Mom’s debt. The gambling loans she’d hidden from me until the cancer took her eight months ago. I’d been scraping by, paying what I could, but the interest piled up like the snow outside. “I… I don’t have it yet. Please, I just need more time.” The taller one laughed, a sound like gravel under boots. He stepped forward, close enough that I could smell the stale coffee on his breath. “Time’s up. Your mama owed us one-eighty-seven grand plus change. That’s on you now. We ain’t charities.”

Hi Billie i wanted 2ask something about your stories. When i see that someone has a few stories i always check how many are Ongoing. You have 6 stories but 5 are still Ongoing. From those 5 there are 4 stories under 10 chapters AND last updates 4-6 months ago. That's not really trustworthy right?

Remember To Love Me

Remember To Love Me

“The kind of money the devil uses to buy souls.” Mr Moretti nods, watching me still. He's good at eye contact, it's like he stares into souls. “Now suppose this devil debt was paid off, what would you do?” That one makes me think. I've not really thought much about it, because it's very unlikely the debt gets cleared, I'm more than ready to work my entire life because I have no choice. The money I owe Kade isn't the problem, the problem is the way the interest rises with each day. I know, horrible deal, but I was desperate then, I just wanted my brother to be okay, he was my only family.

The Devil's Debt

The Devil's Debt

Send her against a fortress no one else had breached, call it payment of debt, and let her be erased like the others? Or had the notes, written in his own hand, betrayed something else? Something she wasn’t sure she dared name. She could almost hear him—his voice, that measured baritone that never faltered. You owe me. Every breath, every scar. Until the debt is paid. Those words had cut deeper than shackles. He had carved them into her as surely as any brand. And yet... the page he had written was not cold. The routes were too precise, too intimate. Shadows mapped the way only she would think to move. Weaknesses he had seen only she could exploit. Brutal, yes. Impossible, perhaps. But not c
