The Deer King Ending Explained Novels & Stories

I continue to search until I finally come across a small deer and the best part was that it was drinking from the freshwater steam. I let Cara take more control. I am extremely weak, like Scarlett. I don't know how long we were passed out for, but all the blood that I took from the Rogue King has gone. I scan the area and find the deer that Scarlett had seen; it doesn't take long before I find it still standing at the freshwater stream but I have a bad feeling run through me, so I scan the area again and again until I finally find it, lying in wait are two figures crouched by two different trees.

King Isodore started the conversation with Prince Thayer about Alessia. “I wish she could stay for a while,” Carly started. “She has a job, darling,” The Queen replied. “Do you like white-tail deer?” The King asked. I swallowed. I didn’t know if it was a test or something. “I haven’t tried it, sir.” Then the main course was served. He gave her a crooked smile before sitting up straighter. "Let's just say not everyone likes the King. He thought he ended the revolution by killing his brother. He was sadly mistaken. They will not survive without her.” He pauses, eyes gleaming with cruel amusement. “So I have decided to make a game of it. Twenty of you will be paired into groups of two. You will track down the cubs and kill them.”

Deacon had burst into a cold sweat. He actually offended the Wolf King’s family. That was pure suicide. It was no wonder Andrius was so powerful. It was because he was the Wolf King! However, the Wolf King was said to be dead. Thus, Deacon could not reveal any information about the Wolf King and could only use Luna’s identity as the Wolf Queen. “You’re the Wolf Queen, aren’t you?” Deacon walked to Luna and said nervously, “I was blind yesterday and offended your grandmother. Julian strolled over casually, an elegant yet cruel smile curving his lips.

He whispered as he ushered beta O'Horan to stop moving. "Yes it is." Beta O'Horan nodded. "I am gonna do this, just watch me." The king said excitedly, bringing out his bow and arrows. King Johannes raised his bow and expertly aimed at a deer in the distance. His piercing fiery eyes followed the graceful creature as it grazed peacefully. Little did he know, danger lurked in the shadows. Meanwhile, O'Horan kept a watchful eye on their surroundings. His muscular frame made him a formidable opponent, always ready to protect his king. As they ventured deeper into the woods, he couldn't feel elated for helping the king bring back his real self.

" 'HELP!' she screamed, but they didn’t listen. They thrust the golden dagger into her chest, and her blood spilled out. They collected it into a golden cup and served it to him. He drank from the cup as though it were ordinary wine, and just like that, the vampire king’s curse was broken. The end!" She ended the story with a squeal and a bright smile, but what she got in return were long faces. "What?" she blinked, confused. "You don’t like the ending?" She searched their faces for answers.
