Divorced, Disgraced and Disowned

Divorced, Disgraced and Disowned

A dangerous part of him wanted to believe maybe… maybe there was still something between them buried underneath all her anger. But another part knew better. Cara only saw last night as a lapse in judgment. A mistake caused by vulnerability. Nothing more. After she left him, he realized that no success he achieved had ever replaced her. He had simply learned how to function around the absence. His gaze darkened. Cara thought he walked away unaffected three years ago. She was wrong. That divorce had gutted him in ways he never admitted, not even to himself. He remembered signing the papers without hesitation, fueled by rage and betrayal. Remembered believing she had humiliated him. Remembered

But she didn’t move. Couldn’t. Because her eyes were locked onto herself like she was seeing something she had spent her entire life trying to remember. The other self stopped only a few feet away now. Close enough that the air shimmered between them. Close enough that Rhydan could feel the pull himself. Like reality wanted them together. “You were never meant to survive divided,” the other self whispered softly. Aurenya flinched. Not from fear. Recognition. Fragments of memory suddenly flashed across her face.

mine—mine. Relief slammed into me. because we were back. not fused. not aligned. us. The presence recoiled. conceptually. because now it didn’t work. couldn’t complete. couldn’t perfect. “You maintain division,” it said. The voice sharper now. fractured. “Yes,” I said. because that was the point. “because that’s what makes it real.” The space shattered. Violently everything pulling apart. everything breaking alignment. zayden pulled me closer. not merging. holding. and for one second. everything stabilized. not the system. not the space. us.

A Gift from the Goddess

A Gift from the Goddess

Hi everyone, This is just a quick note regarding the remainder of Book Two. Apologies for how long it's taken me to finish the book. Due to financial and personal/health reasons, I had to take a step back two years ago to make sure that I was okay first. My goal was to finish the book last year but I was then unfortunately diagnosed with a neuro disorder, so I've spent the last year retraining my body with physio and trying to live as normal of a life as I can. It's taken a long time to feel ready to finish the story, but it was always my intention to come back.

I just finished reading this story, and I have to say: I am speechless. This is the first story on this app that has completely captivated me. Finally, there are fresh, new plot elements—instead of the usual clichés you read on this app time and time again.

Conscious Conscience

Conscious Conscience

I stopped midway of scooping some rice from the cooker, and stared at Liliana, "Perhaps until her pursuers disappear, at least not for long… honestly I've been planning to let her join me on my next quest, she at least needs to learn a lot of things regarding the system…" "Ah about that, perhaps.. it was better—" "Ah, Azriel… where is the fourth volume of this book!" Liliana suddenly interrupted as she flashed the light novel she was reading earlier…. I looked closely at the cover and realized that she went for the wrong book, "That book… they stopped serializing that since the first rupture started, so there is no fourth book or whatsoever," I replied. I could feel her tears about to flow,

DIVORCED, BUT SPOILED BY MY FIVE BROTHERS

DIVORCED, BUT SPOILED BY MY FIVE BROTHERS

He had always been one of the most brilliant people I’d ever met, and now he had become my guide once again. He invited me to professional conferences and seminars — events that helped me grow as both a therapist and a researcher. But what meant the most was how he helped me revive my doctoral thesis. The one I had abandoned after marrying Rowan. The one that used to mean everything to me. Professor Collins made sure I had everything I needed to succeed. He gave me private lessons — sometimes late at night, often online. During the day, he helped refine my arguments and guided my research with patience. He even gave me his favorite books: The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk, Atta

Her Territory

Her Territory

The weight of his brother's memory became his steadfast companion, pushing him ever onward. In the depth of his solitude, Samuel discovered the power of introspection. He delved into the depths of his own being, confronting his fears, his doubts, and his limitations. Each revelation fortified his spirit, eroding the barriers that once held him back. He emerged from the crucible of self-discovery as a stronger, more resolute version of himself.

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

“I loved.” “I fought.” “I chose.” And with each word, a new line appeared in her book: She rose unloved, but not unloving, She bore the pain, and named it purpose, She walked alone, and still opened the door for others, She remembered who she was before they told her who to be. The monster cracked. Split down the center like a corrupted manuscript, Chapters poured out titles stripped of meaning, stories no longer feared, It began to shrink. Shrivel, Its body returned to sentences and scattered lines.

Billion Dollar Regrets: 21 Nights of Payback

Billion Dollar Regrets: 21 Nights of Payback

In the apartment, in the reading nook, which has become a place where real things happen because it's small and low and close to the ground in the way of spaces that feel safe for honesty. He tells her about the third-generation expectation. About the specific silence of a house where the right answer was always assumed and deviation wasn't punished so much as simply never modeled as possible. About the way he built a professional self so complete and so correct that he lost track of where it ended. About the divorce being partly a consequence of offering his wife the professional self instead of the underneath one because he wasn't sure the underneath one was sufficient. He tells her this i

My Possessive CEO (Can love conquer pain?)

My Possessive CEO (Can love conquer pain?)

“This is where I chose to live.” The shadows pause. Just for a second. The voice goes quiet. Because that— that changes the meaning. The narrative. The truth. “I didn’t break here,” I continue. “I adapted.” “You abandoned yourself.” “I protected myself.” The younger me collapses to her knees. Trembling. Breathing uneven. Terrified. But still alive. Still fighting. Still trying. “You left her behind,” the voice pushes. “No.” “Yes.” “You became something else.” “I became stronger.” “You became divided.”
