Too Late To Love Me: I Already Left With His Twins

Too Late To Love Me: I Already Left With His Twins

Ground yourself, Lydia. There is this book Dr Sana gave me the last time I saw her. A self help book. It’s by a woman who was dealing with depression and she wrote about her therapy sessions and her thoughts. I Want to Die, But I Want to Eat Tteokbokki. Every time I read it, something settles inside me. It makes me feel like I’m not alone in the chaos of my own mind. So I picked it up from the counter where I had left it and started reading.

Honestly, I really liked the first few chapters of the book, but it seems like writers changed from somewhere around chapter 10? The writing style and thought pattern changed so drastically and it just wasn't as captivating as it was at first, so I had to drop it.

Her Dangerous Affection

Her Dangerous Affection

This is the section filled with books that will serve as a solution to one's disastrous life battle. I almost lost to the sight of it that almost reach the highest roof. The man behind me said with a husky yet awed-filled voice, “You're right. It was the classic brought upon the battle of oneself. It was written by the very known...” His voice disrupted by his emotion that suddenly flared. His silence and deep breathing was something I thought as a kind of reminisce for something so dare to him. Suddenly my mind flickered, show a devastating scene. “What...” I gasped, step back with my weakened knees. My mind so strange, and it was so far to a possibly acceptable nature. It give me the taste

Honey, Love Me One More Time

Honey, Love Me One More Time

Rebecca exclaimed. Dr. Cruise nodded. “Yes, it does exist. When people suffer a big blow and can’t accept it, their self-protection mechanism will be activated. And the split personality is one of the manifestations of self-protection. According to the records in the history of modern medicine, a person had more than three hundred personalities at the same time. But this case is an extreme example. Henry won’t be like this. He only has two personalities.” “What is Henry like when he’s in his secondary personality?” Rebecca asked anxiously. “In the fictional novels I’ve read, a man in his secondary personality behaved like a little girl. Will Henry be like this?”

My Heart beats in him

My Heart beats in him

“Stillness concentrates it.” Silence. Anna looked down at her hands. They still looked normal. But now she could feel something subtle underneath them. Not shaking. Fragmentation. Like her sense of self was no longer one continuous observer. But multiple overlapping instances trying to agree on what “hand” meant. She whispered, “I can feel myself dividing.” Elsewhere, Adrian responded quietly. “So can I.” A pause. “And the rate is increasing.” Silence. Anna began walking again slowly. Each step required immediate re-confirmation of existence.

A Divorce After My Rebirth

A Divorce After My Rebirth

His mature features gave people an inexplicable sense of reassurance. Natalie lowered her head and ate her food. A new chapter of her life? She hadn't really thought about it! It seemed like the man sensed her thoughts and said, "It was just a divorce, nothing more. You still have time to consider what comes after!" "..." "Social biases shouldn't affect you, right? Social biases? Natalie had never thought about these things! What had happened between her and Cedric was enough to keep her away from entertaining thoughts about her future.

I do NOT want Natalie with Cedric (he had plenty of chances) or Irwin (who causes Natalie and Cedric to constantly have issues). Mainly I just want to know who is Kayla's daddy. Why was Cedric so obsessed with Isabella? How and why did Blair die? Why does Isabella saving Nat justify all the pain?

if the story still has so many unresolved conflicts, then i believe it has been forced to end. financial issue maybe. Too bad... we dont know the real ending so many novels here. Deep dissappoited. This angered me so much when i have spend so much time here and hoped to much, but i am helpless. Sad.

Selling Myself

Selling Myself

"I just... don't have a better way yet." Joseph lunged forward, gripping my hands, his voice fragmented. "Are you crazy? You can't take that risk! I won't allow it!" I yanked my hands free, my vision blurring with tears. "Let go. You're hurting me." He savagely tore at his own hair, collapsing against the wall as if his entire body had failed. "I'm useless. I should be the one who died!" I looked at him calmly. In that moment, there was surprisingly no sadness. Only a deep, consuming weariness.

Shadowed Desires: The Unwanted Mate

Shadowed Desires: The Unwanted Mate

“We are inside you.” Ava went still. Her breath caught in her throat as if her body had forgotten how to continue. “Inside… me?” she repeated slowly, as though the words were too large for her understanding. The other Ava nodded once. “Not physically. Not the way you understand it. This is what remains when a mind that was split begins to reassemble itself. This is your inner structure, the place where everything you are was stored, hidden, and divided.” Ava stumbled back a step, shaking her head in disbelief. “This is insane… I feel like I’m disappearing, like I’m losing pieces of myself instead of becoming whole.” The other Ava shook her head gently again. “You are not disappearing. You ar

“It will speak what you silence.” I wonder what mine would say. Would it accuse me of selfishness? Of pride? Or would it understand this desperate need to hold everything together, even if it means breaking myself in the process? I closed the book and left.

After Divorce, I Chose Sins

After Divorce, I Chose Sins

For one second, I thought she was dead, and at that moment, it felt like the problem had been completely eliminated. I should’ve left her on the floor. I shook my head. I just wanted to take a normal night out, not this chaos I walked into. What was I even thinking…taking someone I just divorced to the hospital? A pulse throbbed on my forehead. Hold yourself together, Noah. There’s nothing wrong with me. She caused all of this herself. Ever since that goddamn tape, followed by the scandal and the mess it caused. I told myself the fact again and again.

Then finally spoke again. “You resist because you were taught fear.” Cassian laughed once without humor. “Trust me, you’re doing plenty to earn it.” But the entity’s focus remained entirely on me. “You feel the fracture within yourself,” it said softly. “The pull toward unity.” The connection inside me tightened painfully. Because yes I did feel it. That instinctive desire to resolve the tension between all the divided threads. To bring stillness to the chaos. To end the constant strain pulling everything apart. But the problem was

Frequently Asked Questions

I've always been fascinated by psychology and philosophy, so 'The Divided Self' really caught my attention when I first stumbled upon it. The author, R.D. Laing, was a groundbreaking Scottish psychiatrist who challenged traditional views on mental illness. His work delves deep into the human psyche, exploring themes of identity and alienation in a way that feels both profound and relatable.

What I love about Laing's approach is how he blends existential philosophy with clinical observations, making complex ideas accessible. 'The Divided Self' isn’t just a dry academic text; it’s a thought-provoking exploration of what it means to be 'whole' in a fragmented world. If you’re into books that make you question reality and self-perception, this is a must-read. Laing’s later works, like 'The Politics of Experience,' further expand on these themes, but 'The Divided Self' remains his most iconic contribution.
