The Doom Stone Book Novels & Stories

Savannah gripped the dagger hidden in her arms and drove it hard into Edmund's stomach. Blood gushed out in an instant, soaking through his clothes and dripping steadily from the hilt onto the floor. Terror twisted his face as he begged for mercy, "Sav, I know I was wrong! Please, spare me! I'll give everything back to you!" Savannah didn't waver. She yanked the blade out and plunged it in again, over and over. She kept at it until blood spilled from Edmund's mouth, leaving him unable to speak. Then, with a thud, his body hit the floor.

She stood over him, her voice cold and unwavering. "It's over, Beast," she declared. "Your empire is crumbling, and justice will finally catch up with you." The Beast, his pride wounded as much as his leg, could only glare at Carol in impotent rage. The tables had turned, and he was now the one at their mercy. The team members quickly secured the area, ensuring that the Beast's men were incapacitated and unable to pose a threat. They were well-prepared for this moment, having set up their positions and weapons with meticulous planning.

) I already have a planned plot to Stonegrim but putting all the pieces together will really take some time to finish, but no worries, I always spend my free time working on this. Anyways, this book is a novel-type-ish... Like, it doesn't come with that "name-of-person's POV" every start of the chapter. So yeah, just a heads up (っ´▽')っ Edit: So I haven't been able to update for months, had a lot of stuff happening especially when 2020 got into the scene. Been busy as well with dealing lots of personal stuff. Hopefully y'all won't mind my cringey Author's note inserted here in the middle of the chapters. This is more of me tryna get myself together while creating this novel lol. Really am loo

DAHLIA : As I listened to the stranger’s stories one after one, I examined the torch. The fire would continue burning until the reserve of magic ran out. I didn’t have to worry about it running out and leaving me in the dark. I picked some juicy worms and put them next to me searching for a stick. I eyed a small bone I wished it belonged to an animal then prayed for the owner’s salvation. “And like that, Dotoria was born; a land for humans to rule, cursing other races within its borders into madness and cruelty, condemning them to relinquish all emotions and deny their selves. What are you doing? I smell something burning.”

Darius turned towards the Stone. “Come forward.” She did. The entire hall went quiet. Vivian placed her palm against the Black Moon Stone. Nothing happened. Not a flicker. Not a sound. Vivian’s shoulders stayed straight. Victor’s did too. For three long breaths, nobody moved. Then Victor said, “Again.” The word was soft. The room changed around it. Pressure settled over my shoulders. Familiar. Wrong. Darius turned his head. “She completed the rite.”

And that shuts me up. The building is all steel, glass, and subtle arrogance. We’re guided to a private suite high above the city. Marcus Duval stands to greet us—early 50s, fit, dressed in a navy suit that probably cost more than some apartments. His smile doesn’t quite reach his eyes. “Ah, the infamous Damon Stone,” Duval says. “And this must be the woman who finally tamed him.” I force a polite smile, and Damon’s hand rests on my lower back as we sit, his fingers firm like a warning: play the role.

I know I'm acting crazy I'm stuck, feeling stoned With my hand on my heart, I'm praying To survive this whole thing The heart Wants What It Wants - Selena Gomez (...) Ella After an exhausting day, I finally arrive at my apartment and throw myself on the couch. The meowing of Tom, my fur ball, makes me look away. "Hi, my love. How was your day?" I stroke his soft fur and he rubs his head against my leg. You must be hungry, right? "As if he understood my question, he lets out a steady meow."

And throughout that day, no matter how hard I tried to convince myself nothing would go wrong in robbing an empty mansion, I still couldn't shake off the fear and trepidation that had gripped my heart the moment my eyes fell upon the gleaming gemstone. "At least, for the week," I repeated to myself. "I wouldn't have to worry about what to feed the kids." Opting to remain optimistic. But little did I know, that that little accursed stone would be the source of my DD. My Doom and Destruction. _____

I remark, not sure what the point was. "Maiden Notes is an anagram for Damian Stone." Damian remarks looking highly of himself. "So what? So you own the building. Big freaking deal. That still doesn't explain why you're here." Damian, however, looks over at me with a weird expression on his face, almost as if he finds it sexy that I continue to challenge him.

And then Donato stopped. Because the shadows finally peeled back enough for him to see it. A stone pedestal alone. Centered beneath a beam of pale blue light like moonlight trapped underground. And resting on that pedestal… was a single book. Black, old, bound in rough, darkened leather. Its surface cracked like something had clawed it. And around it circling like frost drifted a faint, ghostly mist. Donato's breath left him in a shocked, trembling exhale. "The Black Great Book…" he whispered.
