There was silence for a few seconds before Vincent spoke. “Who the fuck is this new joker now?” Vincent tilted his head and walked towards the bed. “Whatever, I’ll just kill all of you and end this.” His eyes glowed red and his fangs jutted out of his lips. He charged his fist towards Darius’s face but he blocked Vincent’s fist right before it could hit his jaw. In a second, Vincent’s head was bashed against the floor. He couldn’t move and his entire strength was overpowered by Darius’s one muscular arm. Darius’s eyes glowed blue in the darkness, making him look like a feral beast.

Instead, her hand dipped into her pocket, her movements discreet but desperate. Before I could react, the room’s door swung open quietly, and a large figure slipped through. Heather’s accomplice—a broad-shouldered man with a grim determination etched onto his features—moved with a silent, predatory grace. His eyes locked onto me immediately, and without a word, he charged.

I muttered as the man grabbed hold of me , ready to lay me on the bed . "I wouldn't want to play games with you,the money before we get down to business and Why are you trying to romance me ,we agreed on twerking and stripping, I'm not your personal slut or sex toy , I strips not sex "I corrected and the man forcefully lay me over as he try to get over me, I push him off me and then Hit him with my shoe before running out of the room. The kind of movement that left no trail. The first to arrive was the man from the crash. He wore a nondescript brown jacket and a baseball cap low over his eyes. His hands were scarred in a way only fire could mark. When he entered the private conference room where Adrain waited, he stood by the door, as if unsure if he would stay. “You don’t have to say anything,” Adrain said gently, rising to meet him. “Just let me say it.” The man nodded once, warily.

If this one failed, mankind would have to consider evacuating and searching for a new safe zone. After feeding the drug to Savannah, everyone held their breath and observed her. She still bared her bloody jaws and roared senselessly. Everyone's hearts slowly sank. Some scientists even started packing up files, ready to evacuate. Only I noticed Savannah's fingers slowly returning to their human shape. My heart nearly burst with emotion. For a moment, I forgot I was dead and shouted for everyone to wait. It was only when no one responded that I snapped to my senses and forced myself to calm down. I continued watching.

He said with a smirk. The husky man who is tempting with his smile soon turned into that man in a suit shaking hands with Jonathan Davis. I could no more think of the rough hands, evil smile, or what they could do to me. I've to run away from this man. I need to. But the body is a traitor. It's like my legs are glued to the ground. Why aren't they moving? 'Cause I was technically in his arms. "Leave." I demanded mastering some courage.
