“I don’t need a Hunt, Beckett. And I certainly won’t be Sparking with any brownies or winged creatures either. It’ll happen when the Goddess wills it.” “Maybe, but if you don’t plant your seed in some fertile belly soon, Spring will start to wither. Wouldn’t want to be responsible for the annihilation of your entire Kingdom, would you Jayce?” Beckett hissed back. He threw his head back in mocking laughter, shaking out his golden hair. “Boys, how about we have a bit of decorum about us.” A voice breezily chirped from just beyond the clearing before the small, pixie-ish Princess of Winter glided into view. All three princes straightened themselves from their slouched positions.

I cleared my throat, turned to look at the moon again, and answered, "Yes, when I was a child." "And now?" he pressed. "Now, I believe that princesses don't need to be guarded by dragons and be rescued by a prince. I believe they can escape on their own. I believe that dragons could be just representations of a princess's fears and insecurities, but then again, it is as simple as a dragon protecting the princess from the outside threat." "You have an intriguing mind, Ms. Chase." He chuckled lightly. "So I'm told." I controlled the urge to bite my lip. Hell, he had a very sexy chuckle.

She knew the Prince's eyes was on her, watching her, studying her. He was just like she had been told he would look like. Tall, golden complexion, handsome with fair hair and mesmerising blue eyes. Her eyes darted around quickly and she noticed the other girls from Queenstrial gawking at them. At her specifically. Majority of them were frowning at her. And Astra. Oh gods! Astra was looking at her! She thought as she looked away, her heart beating rapidly in her chest. Prince Caspian held her hand and looked at her with concern in his eyes.

Some lift the deceased dragons, while some begin to gather wood, and the others start burning what’s left on the field. I stare at the red dragon. He’s larger than the others. “Is that you?” I ask. “It is. The red dragons are the strongest. I can control the elements: fire, wind, water, and earth. Since I’m the prince, I can cast spells and do other magic, but it requires more energy. My natural magic I can do without the help of the dragon stone.” He pauses for a moment, “We are going to skip ahead.” I nod. We are back in the first room. Everyone is walking in, and they’re completely naked. A scream rings throughout the walls. Jonat runs into the room, “They’re all dead!”

Did he just say dragon princess. As in the heir to the dragon throne. As in the next ruler of the dragons. My monster went silent. The silence inside my head did not last long. ‘If a vampire prince gets engaged to the dragon princess’ my monster finally said, ‘slow and heavy, they will be unstoppable for life. Power like that has never existed before. This is basic knowledge. This is the strongest alliance the supernatural world will ever see.’ I felt it then. The weight of it. The way the room itself seemed to shift slightly, like fate had just leaned forward to watch.

Every dragon born in the last three centuries has been male. They arrive at the palace gates in a dense dark green mist, the guards on the gate bow before them and lead them inside. It is no secret that Xavier is their prince, although he rarely shows himself, and they know not to question his orders. The guards are shocked by his sudden and unannounced return and they fall over themselves to greet him and his beguiling guest. Xavier and Everleigh are led down a long tree lined path which leads to an enormous, dazzling white palace. Towers rise up into the air, their jade green roof tiles glint in the sunlight, flowered vines snake and wind, clinging to the rough walls. The sight of the fair

"No, I am the crown prince, my father King Rason is the king." "Cool, I wonder what my kingdom is like?" Kelan wondered aloud. "Do you remember anything?" Alistair asked. "Not really, all I remember is being a flower until Theodore came along." "Well your kingdom is kind of a no go area presently but maybe later in the future, you might be able to visit." Alistair told him. "The hole?" Theodore asked Alistair. "Yes, the hole. Since you took the flute, the hole has evolved into a kingdom and the flowers there to really powerful beings. Not even the gods dare approach them."

I said out loud and pushed play. “You like dragons?” He asked watching the movie with me. “I have seen this movie years ago.” I begin, Then I laughed at a memory. “I used to pretend I was a princess in a castle and imagined a beautiful red dragon turning into a handsome prince that would rescue me from a bad knight.” He smiled but didn’t laugh. As I watched him, I noticed something strange about his expression. I frowned at him. “What? What’s wrong?” He pasted a smile which I knew was fake. “Nothing.” He says, “So I take it since you saw dragons as heroes that you like dragons?”
