The Dragon Wars Novels & Stories

With a swift motion, I clenched a fistful of their armor and catapulted both soldiers into the onlooking crowd. A growl escaped me and I lunged at the commander, teeth bared and claws elongated. Claws? When did I get claws? The thud of a blunt weapon impacting my skull brought me crashing to the ground face first. A pair of muddy boots filled my blurring vision. The murmur of voices could be heard addressing the crowd.

Not just any dragon. They were dragons too—every one of them born with wings and claws, fire in their lungs. But he was the Warlord. The King they had once feared and followed not because of birthright, but because of power. His wings could darken the sun. His roar had shattered mountain passes. They had called him king not out of respect, but survival. And they had forgotten. Until now. Sera didn’t scream. She just stood there, arms still outstretched, as if her body might shield them from a god.

So they devised a technique of attacking the Dragons in secret, since the Dragons were too powerful they began to take them out one after the other. Dragons were said to be mysterious creatures. They lived in mountains and barely interacted with others, they didn't live in groups like the Wolves did and only took in mates once in a lifetime. A Dragon couple would only be capable enough to have two children or maybe even one in their entire lifetime, so their population wasn't much. But they could transform into fire-breathing Dragons After all and so everyone else was afraid of them. When the Dragons came to learn of the Dark Wolves' attacks, they were enraged and declared war against them.

“Maliyah!” As I get closer I see her dragon, Terra, is in chains and she is struggling to break free. There are two warlocks fighting against Maliyah and she is holding her own well. I push myself harder and tackle a warlock, immediately snapping his neck. His body disappears, leaving only one left.

However, did you think that was all? If you think so, you're wrong. The Resource War between these Orders actually started a little while after that. About an hour after the Resource War starts, four giant dragon monsters will appear. Curse in the North, Envy in the South, Malice in the West, and Anger in the East. These Dragon Monsters must be defeated by the participants of the War. These monsters will not perish if faced by just one or five people, especially if the attacking Fighter has weak damage. Therefore, joining a large Order with many members was very beneficial.

I rasped. Arwan looked away, hiding his emotionless face, “Very correct, keep reading.” “In the year 1770, a war broke out between the lycanthropic dragons against the real werewolves, dark walkers, shadow creatures, and Apex predators. All with one aim, eradicating the forbidden seed” “Wow, a lot of people want me dead,” I voiced out in sadness. “Just keep reading Melonie,” Arwan scolded.

he blurted. "War?" My head angled to the side. "Two thousand years after Irun's death, there was a prophecy about an upcoming war. A war to stake the claim for the pyramid of Goras. I once told you I was not the only dragon king, did I not?" I nodded. "Yeah. You said something about the Red Dragon King and Queen."

Among the Six, he's the only one who doesn't seem uptight like the rest of them. For the rest of my stay in the hospital, I keep receiving visits from Landon and Dakota's family as well. I have gathered information about my mission. Apparently, I am to find the seals. Moreso, I can only do that if I stick to a particular person who bears the name, Dashiell Gryphon. According to Landon, he's a dragon Lord who wants to use the seals for evil purposes. To worsen it all, he's the jerk who had murdered me. I'm willing to do my best. ..

“Sorry boys, but you’ll be facing me. Erebus was already reaching out with his darkness to grab me, but Irunyr flies at the dark tendrils and slashes them to pieces. Ra screams horridly and pours out an orange blast of energy from his mouth. A sigil appears in my hand, and increases in size until it is bigger than the blast. Erebus flanked me, trying to get past the shield. A green blast emanated from his eyes and fired at me. Null zone emissions. Those things could effectively erase me from existence. The only way I could take them head on was with a shard or my demonic possession, which I was saving for a dire moment. This wasn’t it. I put down the shield and jumped away, just barely dod

"Tell me everything your parents told you about my family." I sighed, a shameful blush coating my ears. I could still feel the burn behind my ear. It felt raw, especially as blood rushed in a telltale flush. "They told me a lot of things. And, I'm going to preface this by saying I thought the dragon thing was a metaphor. I didn't know it was a literal thing." Thane laughed suddenly. "So sirens, sorceresses, chimeras, all valid and real, but you draw the line at water dragons?"
