EPISODE 15. THE KINGDOM OF LYRIA. The Duchess and Princess Rosalia were taking a walk around the castle since the Prince and the Duke had to settle important business leaving the lady to themselves. "Are you afraid of him?" Duchess Amberie suddenly asked with a smile and Rosalia paused for a second before shaking her head.. "I'm not scared of him, I just think he's mysterious." She answered truthfully and the Duchess seemed to smile brighter... Rosalia looked at the side profile of the duchess and didn't think someone this noble and beautiful could be a witch.

A voice—cool as glacier wine—cut through the velvet noise. “Enjoying the illusion, dear?” We turned. Standing a few feet away in a dress that looked like it had been sewn from crushed emeralds and other people’s misery was Duchess Gloria Wintermellon. Yes, Wintermellon. No, I couldn’t say it with a straight face either, but this woman looked like she hadn’t smiled since the last solar eclipse. Sharp cheekbones. A fan made of peacock feathers. A smile dipped in venom. She didn’t even look at me when she said, “Lady MacMayer, I suggest you remove your hand from the Duke. It’s rather unbecoming to cling to a man who is already promised.”

All I had to do was smile and agree to what these people are telling. You can’t afford to fail this up, Beth. Of course, my parents were with other officials, Adrian was with the Order of the Knights and Charlie had her circle, but he introduced me to her friends. My head rotated just like Earth's, searching for my friend's shadow. “The Duke and Duchess of Le Merck have arrived!” All of us turned around when the ballroom’s door opened. The baby pink off-shoulder ball gown tulle dress with bishop sleeves matched with waterfall braid gave justice to her beauty.

"Madam!" "Madam!" The screams echoed from below. Every eye was fixed on the castle’s highest tower, where a woman in a blood-stained white gown stood precariously on the edge. Selene Moreau Leventis was the Duchess of Leventis. She was a woman known for her quiet, submissive nature. But now, she was standing in the most dangerous of places. The guards behind her moved with agonizing caution, fearing that a single misplaced step would send her plunging into the abyss.

‘It’s okay, Beatrice, he’s the Grand Duke, of course he is busy,’ She said in her mind, cheering herself up. While eating her breakfast, she started wondering what a duchess should do during the day. As he pondered her thoughts, Charles, the butler, came into the dining area. She looked at him, but he stayed quiet until Beatrice finished her food. After breakfast, Charles appeared by her side and politely bowed. “The Grand Duke has instructed me to guide you around the estate,” Charles seriously said. Panic instantly showed in Beatrice’s face as she thought of troubling the butler with her lack of knowledge. Charles saw the panic in the duchess's eyes and instantly smiled at her.

Lady Sophia carefully carried the tray and put it down on the table. "Your Grace, this is the ginger tea that you like. Please have it while it's still hot." Lady Sophia's voice was calm as per her normal behavior. She didn't show any trace of her earlier disappointment and hurt towards the Duke. Duke Kensington, who was doing his work, looked up when he heard Lady Sophia. "Where is the Duchess?" "Her Grace is by the river. She wants to paint and not to be disturbed by anyone, Your Grace." Lady Sophia informed the Duke.

Lilia was stunned to hear her words, she scanned the girl before her, she looked nothing like a witch and a part of her told her that she is telling nothing but lies. Natacha read her thoughts, "Not all witches are bad Princess Lilia and I know that you fall under the same too because you have a good heart" she turned to Lilia who became more confused. Natacha saw that she wanted to ask a question but she stopped her, "Right now, you have to wash yourself off that awful smell. The queen insists you have a bath and when you are done, I will give you a dress you can change to. Later, you can wear the one I gave you at her dungeon" she narrowed her eyes, "I know that you have so many questions
