Anyways, I turn back to the people and I'm just about to resume talking when I feel it, the first pelt on my trouser. I glance down at my pants and that's when I see it, the gelatinous drawl of an egg's contents as it slides down my leg. I have barely registered that when I feel the next one, a sickening crack on my right arm and then the spill of the egg. I glance up in the direction it came from and it's where the smaller group had been standing. And they are throwing more. I do the first instinctive thing I can do. I bring up my hands and shelter my head as the eggs land on me.
