It blinked at me like it had always belonged in this world. Then a lynx, muscular and graceful, stepping forward with predatory fluidity. Its breath came out in soft puffs, ears twitching as it observed the fox zipping around it. And then—because I wanted to know if I could—something enormous. I focused all the energy I could muster, shaping broad shoulders, wrinkled skin, a massive form. The air vibrated. Light thickened like clay under my will. The elephant emerged with a low rumble that shook the ground. Dust scattered from the force of its breath.

Ward kneels down in front of me, that disarming grin of his on his face. "Geez!" I say. "You scared the crap out of me." He laughs and grabs one of the brochures off the ground - the one where I gave the entire family elephant trunks. His eyebrows shoot up in surprise when he sees my work. And then he looks up at me and barks out a laugh. "Seriously?" he says. "Elephants?" "What? I thought it was clever." I snatch the brochure out of his hand and fold it up again. She snorted and flicked her tail before continuing to the brush behind the rock on the other side of the trail. Just before she disappeared again she turned her head and looked right at Amerie. The woman blinked. Milo laid his head down in her lap just as the elk continued on. An eagle soaring overhead called out. Amerie tilted her head back and smiled. She knew she had to head back. She had plans tonight, after all, and still needed to shower.

I made the lion purr before he roared causing Ed to snatch his hand back quickly and then let out a small laugh. Then I made the lion turn around and walk away and brought in an elephant. "It's so big." Ed whispered, his eyes wide. The elephant lifted it's trunk in the air and trumpeted, making Ed jump and squeal. The elephant extended his trunk towards him. "He's saying 'hi', Ed, shake his trunk." Ed extended his hand and shook the elephant's trunk like he would someone's hand. And then the elephant too, turned around and left. And then came a giraffe, causing Ed to crane his neck up to look at the tall giraffe. I handed him a long leaf, "feed it to him."

Alexa doesn’t seem that happy seeing the king. “I can’t believe what I am seeing,” Alexa said “I know,” Daniel said “They were all elephant with big feet and ears,” Alexa said “I know,” Daniel said “And they are disgusting,” Alexa said “I know,” Daniel said “Is that all you are going to say?” Alexa ask “Yes,” Daniel said as he laughs at Alexa’s expression Then Isolde talks to the both of them and told them to stop chattering. The king of Lynnigens is an elephant that can talk. They don’t seem to be cautious about their hygiene and they smell pretty bad that is why there are big flies flying around them.
