His shout attracted the others attention. Jai watched the man calmly jumped into the river that didn't even reached his chest, and took the fishes that had been struck by his spark. Then he saw the man coming back, wet and with two big fish on his hands. The man saw that the others looking at him and proceeded to glare at them. "Get back to work," he said, and they immediately turned away from him. "Nice catch, sir," Jai complimented as the man approached him. Teacher Grenner smirked and raised the fishes on his hands. "Tiger Rockfish. These are delicacies of the villages around here. I'll ask the nuns to make me some soups from this. Look at them, they're gigantic."

I asked, expecting Jeremy to crack a smile and reveal the joke. But instead, something strange happened. Two fish jumped out of the water, landing with a soft flop on the wooden platform we were sitting on. I gasped, my mind reeling with the implications. I remembered Jeremy's words from earlier: "The fishermen don't cast their nets; the fish come to them." It couldn't be, could it? I thought, feeling a sense of wonder wash over me. Jeremy just gave me a knowing smile, his eyes glinting with amusement.

The fisherman shook his head before he even opened his mouth. "Nothing, Mr. Dominic." The guy looked tired, defeated. "I went three miles out. Talked to every boat out there. No body. No clothes. Nothing. It's like he just... vanished." Caesar nodded. His face was stone, carved from something that didn't feel anymore. But his eyes…his eyes were broken. Shattered. Held together by nothing. "Try again now. Farther out." The fisherman hesitated. "Sir... the current here is strong. Really strong. If he went in... he could be anywhere by now. Miles away. Maybe never..."

My father really taught me everything I needed to know about fishing and I fish a lot. I looked at the sea and waited for the perfect time to cast my hook. When I noticed a bubble in the water, I immediately threw my hook into the sea and in no time, it got stuck. Knowing I had caught a fish, I quickly pulled the string of my rod and in no time, a big fish emerged from the water. The attendant assisted me in bringing it into the yacht. Micheal who was still yet to get a fish looked at him in both surprise and shock. I bet he had never been outplayed before. “Wow! I can't believe you really got a fish before me. You must be a genius!”

Fishing? I squint against the sun, and my jaw slacks to the ground when I see the large fish in his hand. "Y-You caught a fish with your hand?" Does he realize that no ordinary human could ever do what he just did without practice? Hayden shrugs. "Merman reflexes." I stare at him, and Hayden sits down cross-legged in the sand. He lifts the fish to his mouth and digs in. "Uh..." His face turns apologetic. "Sorry, did you want some?"

He had never encountered such a strange thing before. “Grandpa, do you think he was responsible for the death of so many fish in Lake Pescado?” Peach asked curiously. “I don’t know. That’s why we have to wake him up and ask him.” “What if it’s him?” “What can we do then? We can’t eat him like a fish, right? We are not beasts.” Cy replied angrily. “Grandpa, I think this person must be special since he can cause the death of so many fish and can stay in the water for a whole day and night without any problems. He is not an ordinary person. Maybe rescuing him will be an opportunity for Village Pescado.”

’ Other pirates got wind of the scene too, and act along, laughing, and talking. ‘Oh. Really.’ He confirmed, and he never bothered to ask any question again. Captain Casablanca then asked him a question. ‘What’s your name, man?’ ‘Oh. My name is Edward. Edward Handy’ He answered. ‘I like the name.’ ‘And you, what’s your name?’ The fisherman asked. ‘My name is Napoleon King.’ ‘So it’s a King I’m talking with, and I never know.’ He jests laughing. ‘It’s just a name. I’m not a king.’ They both laughed. The fisherman rowed again in silence, before Captain Casablanca said when he was feeling dizzy.

He waits for a moment for a catch get near the bubble and when a fish gets near. *Grab* Like the last time, he managed to grab the fish but this time he has clothing on his hand to not let the fish slips away. (Hehe... What a great idea, me!) He immediately pulls his hand inside the bubble along with the fish. And for the first time in his life, he managed to obtain food by himself without the need of money nor help. -------------------------------------------

It wasn't a Thorne. A massive, rusted Trawler—a ship made of actual iron, actual wood, and actual rivets—drifted out of the darkness of the "Actual" universe. Standing on the deck was a man with a beard, wearing a yellow raincoat, smoking a pipe. He looked like an ordinary fisherman from the 21st century. He looked at the dissolving Lab, the glowing boy, the shifting Sentinel, and the bleeding Creators. "Well," the Fisherman said, his voice sounding more real than anything Leo had ever heard. "I see the Bait worked. You finally caught a big one, didn't you, Sarah?"

“Depends who’s asking.” Kai stopped a few steps away. “I’m looking for information. Not trouble.” The fisherman finally glanced up, eyes sharp despite his age. “Trouble usually comes dressed like information.” Kai almost smiled. “Fair enough.” He crouched instead of standing over the man, lowering himself to the same level. “I’m asking about someone seen along this coast. A woman.” The fisherman’s hands slowed. “What kind of woman?” he asked carefully. “One people remember,” Kai replied. “Not one who speaks much.”
