Laura asked a little suspiciously. “His Highness asked us to take you out of this place this way.” Laura nodded. She wanted to leave this place immediately. She was most disgusted when Hayden invited her to the central temple because this place was a lair for alchemists who liked to play with humans for their experiments. What's more, Laura knew that somewhere in this building, they were harboring controlled monsters. “Wamma-bbuwa-bbu-mmamma.” Pasha babble. Luckily he looked calm even in this terrible atmosphere.

I felt my body heating up, reacting to their presence, but my brows shot up. Why weren't they reacting? They seemed normal, almost like there was nothing stirring between us. “The moon goddess blessed you with a second chance mate,” Hazel clapped in excitement. “Tell me, is it the Alpha Kings or the Ash brothers?” Hazel leaned in, her ears perked up, and her eyes lit in anticipation. Aurora took a step back, but the sounds of hooves and paws behind her made her turn around. On the slope below, land creatures advanced: tigers the size of trucks, with golden eyes and gleaming fangs. There were also wolves with three tails and a kind of eyeless rhinoceros, guided by a hooded warrior. All mounted. All coming toward them. “If we don't get into Tron territory soon, we're dead.” Aurora blinked, confused. “Tron?! Are you making up words now?!” Thales cursed, grabbed her arm, and pulled her closer.

With that, I joined them followed by Damien, while Lord Marco and Sam stood at the corner to take cover. Lord Marco asked, “Who are they? Why did we stop? I thought they were coming for you.” Lyra said, I replied, “These… are the Blackthorne wolves. I don’t know how they are here.” Damien looked at Alura, and she gave him a reassuring nod. From the middle of the march, she stepped down from her horse, flanked by four other Betas, including Desmond. She walked towards us. She looked at Damien, a smile beaming across her face.

The old man looked into her palms keenly for another full minute, his eyes widening like they were about to pop right out of their sockets.
