The gamma prince's broken mate Novels & Stories

Alex finishes, ignoring her before moving on to the guy next to Nathaniel. "And this is Diego... my cousin. He usually says stupid shit like that, so you'll just learn to ignore him as well" Diego who was already waving with a smile dropped his hand and turned to Alex with a frown. "Hey!, I’m not that vulgar" I couldn't help but smile, but it died down when I caught Lizzy still glaring at me from across the dinning table. "And this is my Gamma in training... Annalise. You can call her Anna."

He could do as he pleased, and he’d already made his mind up. * * * Ithia snorted, and flicked her golden hair out of her face. Her eyes were bleary with sleep, but her mouth was tugged up into a look that was somewhere between complete astonishment and acceptance. “You must be joking,” she said. “I’m not.” His voice was flat, leaving no room for argument. “I’m going to find her.” To Ithia’s side, his Gamma, Caslein, rolled his eyes. “You don’t even know this girl exists.” He scrubbed a hand across his short, textured hair; the rings adorning his dark-skinned fingers gleamed in the too-bright lamplight.

The Alpha could still remember what happen clearly three days ago. THREE DAYS AGO The Alpha sat on the table, enjoying the sweet wine when he suddenly remember that he has to announce his daughter's engagement, he beckoned to his Gamma and whispered into his ear. The Gamma nodded before walking away and went to look for the princess. However, he couldn't find her. He searched for almost an hour but it was as if she had disappeared, thus, he could only look for her maids.

I cannot believe that Dylan would choose his mate over his pack. 'Damnit, Dylan,' I scream through the mind link for the whole pack to hear, but I am met with nothing but silence. 'Gamma Mark,' I yell through the link. 'Yes, Alpha,' Mark replies immediately. 'Congratulations,' I groan through the link. 'You have just been promoted.'

He acted as if she solely belonged to him, but we both somehow knew it's just a result of our frustration, we were tired of finding our beloved mate. "She could be ours!" He argued back. He was so full of hopes yet I didn't count on any. The hope only kills a person more than soothing him if proved wrong. Moreover, an alpha like me could not exercise leniency in terms of calling any impuissant girl my mate.

Gamma Richards said. Just as we finished the introductions, Gamma Richards starts sniffing and looking around. Tamaska starts smirking in my head. We all look around to see who the gamma’s mate could be as Francis walks into the room. Francis pauses at the door, sniffs the air, and breaks out in a big smile. She and Gamma Richards make eye contact and the next thing we all hear is “Mate”. Tamaska told me that her mate would be another pure-blooded gamma. I had no idea he would be a distant relative. Francis and Gamma Richards come back into the dining room for breakfast. The mood is definitely high in the room.

I made the decision that separated us and now I have no right to stop her from going out to explore whatever's available to her in life. The words I uttered that day ring back in my ear like a chime, haunting me and sending pain running through every corner of my heart as I hear them once again. "I, Karl Landon, Gamma of the Silvercrest Pack, reject you, Lucy Towers, as my fated mate. Though we do not know each other, I have no desire to know you or be with you. A Gamma like me can never be mated to a lowly Omega like you. From today henceforth, I declare our bond broken."

Jennifer’s voice hit my ears once again. I stifled a sob and strained to listen to their conversation. “As soon as my gamma successor ceremony is over,” replied Richard. “Whether I like her or not, the fact is that she is my mate. I can’t afford to break up with her before the ceremony. This may weaken me.” ‘Gamma! Successor Ceremony! Mate! What is he talking about?’ I wondered in astonishment. I thought he was high on alcohol or something and that was why he was blabbering nonsense. Wiping away my tears, I steeled myself, preparing to confront them. However, my movements paused again when I heard something shocking.

“Tonight, we welcome Amber Tremaine as Gamma Alex’s mate. She is already a part of our family, now she’ll be a part of our pack. She will receive the title of Gamma female and should be treated with such respect,” Colin states with a clipped tone. “Alex cut into your mate’s palm please.”

But I didn’t care. “I’m ready for the mission,” I said with confidence. I needed a plan, and I needed it now. My wolf stirred inside me, whispering something I didn’t want to hear. Mate. No. It couldn’t be. Neither of us knew if he was truly my mate or if the moonbane had chosen him as my next victim. But one thing was clear—this Gamma would destroy me before he let me destroy him.
