The Gift Of The Magi Full Story の小説・ストーリー

Baby Robbie was the first child to decline his gift. "Baby Robbie, do you know what's the meaning behind Great Grandpa's gift?" Grand Old Master thought that Baby Robbie declined his gift because the child was too young and did not know the value of money. Baby Robbie swept his eyes across the magnificent hall and said confidently, "Great Grandpa, you wanted to give me a lot of money. With the money, I can buy big houses and cars without spending any effort. I can do whatever I want." Everyone in the house was stunned by Baby Robbie's reply.

“Was that symbolic? Or?” Nicholas now remembered that there were cameras everywhere. He'd forgotten them completely. “Oh, right. Um, to the viewers at home—” Nicholas waved a hand at the nearest camera. “Before I fell in love with this woman, right here, I’d decided to sell the rights to my family’s Christmas store to the highest bidder. I would’ve received a million dollars, which would’ve bought me out of the company.” “And are those the papers for the sale?” Mr. Tony asked, his voice quivering with excitement. “Sir, are you saying that you’re giving up ONE MILLION DOLLARS just to be with this woman right there?”

I said. "But all these must sure cost a lot" Fleur said. "Not at all...i still have some money left" I said. "Really?" "Yeah" "They probably sold it for you at a cheap rate, considering how beautiful you are" Mig said and i chuckled. "So guys i got this for you" I said picking their presents. I handed Fleur hers and Mig his. Fleur didn't waste time in unwrapping her present. "Oh my God!" She screamed excitedly jumping on me..we both fell to the floor almost tripping the cake but Mig had to quickly move it out of the way.

"Well, you deserve it and more. This is just a tiny bit of the gifts I've bought for you." "There's…more?!" she stuttered. She couldn't believe her eyes. "Yes. But I saved those as a surprise for later." he smiled as he held the surprised Caitlin. She was speechless for a few minutes. Suddenly tears welled up in her eyes and she broke down on his shoulders. Just four years ago she was a poor, homeless girl with no future, and now she had a perfect man like Kane to comfort her and give her all the luxuries of life she never thought she could have. He smiled and held her, patting her gently. He cupped her face and kissed her cheeks softly.

Looking into his eyes for this long made it hard for me to be cruel to him, especially after I heard his heartbreaking love story, having no money and being forced to let go of the woman he loved in order to save her. I wasn’t in such a terrible situation. Honestly, after going through so many events, my mind seemed to restrain me from acting too harshly. The gifts had already arrived at my house. I couldn’t deny that he had even thought about Miles, giving him a book that turned out to be popular among children. I truly appreciated the effort, he clearly didn’t just choose something expensive at random to appease me. Considering how risky the situation still was, with reporters frequently l

Though they could have made things simpler by putting a cheque in the envelope, it was symbolic to put actual cash in, so they couldn't put too much. Sigrid felt very happy after she received the first of this year's gift money. It was really rare for someone who was married to receive gift money. It was important to know that Franklin confiscated all the gift money she received before. Sigrid took the envelope and showed it off to George. She said, "George, look at this. I received gift money." On the other hand, George, who was almost thirty, didn't receive any! George nodded and said, "We need to save it up for the baby."

That made me really angry because clearly, Tristan didn’t see me as someone worthy of being respected. So, I gave the gifts to my coworkers. Their smiles said it all, and I was glad Mr. Smith supported me. Many of them were wives who couldn’t afford nice things because of money issues. Some bought their things from flea markets, while others had almost nothing. As a Crud, I could relate to their struggle. That was why giving them these gifts felt like an early Christmas for everyone.

We had a boundary line around our territory and that shit did NOT come in. When Mags and I start to exchange gifts, I get sentimental just like every year. I get pissed for all the years I lost with her, all the years she had to be alone. We could have had each other. She got me some preppy shit, a couple of expensive shirts and cologne. A watch that had to be a few hundred dollars. I didn’t like her wasting her money on me knowing how little she made but it was pointless to argue. The guys and I all paid for her house and bills so I had to let her do what she wanted with her small salary. She didn’t get the baby moments with me, buying cute clothes and toys and I know that is heavy on her h

I smile handing them both the present as I hear Maggie cheer running over hugging my legs. "Thank you, your majesty," she says, I got her real ballet shoes as she was starting ballet, but they couldn't afford to get her any shoes, so I got them for her. Jeremy also walks over giving me a little hug thanking my me, Mark always tells me how Jeremy loves RC cars so I got him the best one I could find, by the time we were finished hugging Mark and his wife had already finished opening their gifts. "Thank you," his wife says crying but gives me a hug.
