The God Of Speed Novels & Stories

As the sun begins to nearly set hours from now, casting eerie shadows across the asphalt, I rev the engine, feeling the power rumble through the frame. And when the gun sounds, signaling the start of the race, I surge forward, running headlong into the horrors that await. I slam my foot down on the gas, careening forward with reckless abandon. I feel a sinister smile spread across my face - I was born to go fast, born to win at all costs. I am speed, I am danger, I will win today even if it costs someone else everything.

Talia mumbled, “Are you serious? You’re a man, but you don’t have a driving license?” Kayson said helplessly, “I came from a small village. We don’t use cars over there. Besides, if I’m really pressed for time, I can even run faster than a car.” Talia was rendered speechless. “Oh please, stop bragging. Do you know how fast a car can go on a highway? 74.56 MPH! If you can run faster than a car, then you aren’t a human anymore.” Kayson thought for a moment and said in a serious manner, “I can’t keep it up for a long time, but if it’s just for a short amount of time, I can run even faster than that.”

Lucas grinned like a child. "It's the fastest mech the world has ever seen," he declared. "If the Exodus is the dark horse of mechs, the Xiezhi is the king. The Prototype is faster overall, but the Xiezhi can hit insane speeds for a few seconds at a time, letting it move in the blink of an eye!" Lucas slapped the bunk, rattling the twin beds. "Imagine marching up to Axion Industries in a Korean mech. With the speed that thing has, we could end the war in hours!"

"OH GOD! CHASE! IT'S SO DEEP! YOU'RE HITTING MY HEART!" Chase was fast. He moved with the same speed he used on the field. His hips were a blur. The sound of their sex was a rapid-fire slap-slap-slap that drove the team into a crazy. "You like this speed, Quill? You like how fast I can work you?"

God. The God of Abundance—a deity renowned for his boundless generosity—does not stop my greedy, wandering hands. Instead, he completely indulges my lust. He lets out a low, shuddering breath, deliberately relaxing his broad shoulders so the heavy silk of his robes parts even wider, giving me unrestricted, glorious access to everything. Jackpot!

Jacob laughs as he bends down, looking in through the open back window. Driving like a bat out of hell is an expression I remember my dad using when we went into human towns. He would often curse the reckless youngsters driving at breakneck speeds. Oh, if only he could see me now. I easily shift between gears, lurching the cobalt blue beast into the next tier of speed. GPS is saying 25 minutes. But speed limits are just a suggestion in a werewolf’s mind. I’m also highly competitive and when it says twenty-five minutes, that just means it’s actually going to be ten. Which still feels like too long and isn't that much faster than running.

Speed never lied. At three hundred miles an hour, the world peeled away everything unnecessary. There was no room for pretense or sweet-talking, no time for betrayal or half-truths. Excuses had no traction at these speeds; the machine demanded everything, and if you hesitated, it would chew you up and spit you out as just another cautionary tale whispered in the garages of the elite.

God. No debate. Fair. Just run. Reasonable. Then they ran. God. As fast as children could run. Fair. Which wasn't very fast. Reasonable honestly. But it was everything they had. God. The tunnel twisted. Fair. Turned. Reasonable. Narrowed. God. The light disappeared. Fair. Then appeared again. Reasonable honestly. Then disappeared again. God. Like it was teasing them. Fair. Then Peanut tripped. Reasonable. Immediately.

I only knew what it meant. "Ah!" I couldn't help but screech when he accelerated way too much. I predict the speed is at the highest at around 210 miles per hour. But hey, he didn't discover the fire speed boost yet and I was thankful. I rarely used that feature, because for one, if I lost balance and hit something in that speed, I'd say hello to God. We reach the pack house and the fences open when they realise who the driver was. I slowly remove my hands from his body while sitting straight instead of leaning on him.

However, her words dissolve in her mouth as she realizes that Paul has abruptly accelerated the car. As Paul accelerates the car, a surge of adrenaline courses through Audrey's veins. The speedometer needle climbs rapidly, and the powerful engine roars beneath the hood. The Bugatti's sleek design glimmers under the streetlights, its aerodynamic curves and polished exterior exuding an air of luxury and sophistication.
