The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

"The flame-toothed gopher is a monster, and you can't handle —" Just as Yohan and Heidi shouted, and Yohan did not even finish his words, they saw Caspian easily reach out and grab the flame-toothed gopher's neck. The giant mouse struggled in his grip, but Caspian's arm was steady like a metal cast, not moving at all. Everyone was stupefied when they saw the scene, and the remaining words stuck in Yohan's throat. He could not even say anything or gulp. Instead, Yohan just stared wide-eyed at Caspian.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

The Dollmaker's Daughter at Christmas

The Dollmaker's Daughter at Christmas

“It’s Pozzletot. I think he’s at the North Pole. Will you read these?” Over Ms. Crotlybloom’s declaration that this was all a bit of tomfoolery, Maevis took the letters from Serendipity, only glancing down at her muddy feet for a moment. She looked from one letter to the other before reading them both aloud, one at a time: “Dear Ms. Fizzlestitch, I am afraid something unexpected happened when I left your residence earlier today. It seems one of your mouse friends snuck into my pocket. If you would like for me to return him, please drop me a line.

Follow Through

He looks at me accusingly and I start to retort but a slight movement in a cluster of bushes within the circle catches my eye and I head towards it. Absently,I heard Logan sigh and murmur something about brain damage and being unconscious so often but I was busy trying to ferret out the little swatch of black I saw cowering behind a large rock.Crouching,I reached into my pocket for a piece of the cookie I had snuck from breakfast and sprinkled the pieces in the grass.Sure enough, out comes an adorable grey mouse with Wayne's eyes and a tuft of his Hispanic hair, nibbling at the crumbs.I hold out my palm and he hops on,nuzzling into the middle of my hand while I stroke his tiny head with a fing

with a shake of his head. Within those dark coffee eyes, a whirlpool of enticing darkness there was such sorrow. His huge frame seemed unusually deflated as I examined his hands under the dim light. Winding white bandages I remembered the story about the lion and the mouse, how the tiny thing saves a big powerful beast. “Lion and the mouse,” he muttered under his breath and for the first time we were in sync with each other. It made my heart skip a beat. “Nikolai, what happened?”

Both parts of this story were absolutely amazing! This author does such a good job with the right amount of detail, making sure it flows well, and keeps you truly intrigued throughout the entire story. Truly one of the best authors/series on this app. So excited for Freyas story! Amazing job author!

Cillian and Matilda were also fantastic. The whole book leaves you impatiently waiting for the sequel. Must read as all four main characters and some others are well formed, have depth good and bad traits. Grammer and spelling definitely up to par. Job very well done Alle!

The Alpha and Luna's Final Fate

The Alpha and Luna's Final Fate

Nibbler claps her flippers together and makes short bark that sounds like it's laughing at Yiselda. Yiselda, with the help of May, gets herself up off the floor and pulls her wand out. Nibbler scoots away quickly as Yiselda angrily chases her, but to her luck, she hiccups again and turns back into her mouse form, making it hard to catch. 'May I have this dance?' Magnus asks with his hand reached out. I take his hand and nod. He pulls me close up against his body, and we waltz. 'It's been such a wonderful night, don't you think?' I ask.

Detective Casie Blackwood and the Moonlit Secrets

"And if Nathaniel is telling the truth?" Dominick asked. "If you really are fated mates who were artificially separated?" Casie met her younger brother's gaze steadily. "Then he'll have to find a way to prove it that doesn't involve human casualties." Her phone buzzed again: *I know you're reading these. I can smell your pack's scent, but also something else. It appears that your pet human has feelings for you. I can smell it in his scent. I will not lose you to a rival.*
