I closed my eyes again to see what was going on. I suddenly found myself standing in front of the source of the power all the dragons possessed. It was the mighty heart of the first dragon. The first of our kind. It was abnormal that the mighty heart was trying to connect with me. I went closer to it and it started glowing brightly. It made me frown even more as it only happened when the king is near to the mighty heart.

"I want you to tell me the story of the dragons again. I know it's a legend now, but I like to call it a story." I see her smiling. "It has been years since you asked me for it," she states. "I thought I grew up enough for stories." "And now what has changed?" "I have started to forget it, and I want to refresh it in my memory again. A red gem, which the king of dragons named "The Heart of Magic" because of its shape, resembled a heart.

His lips quivered in fear as he stared at the dragon's eyes, which were like flames and body, so ancient and dark. “What do you want?” Minerva asked absentmindedly as the dragon stared into her soul. It nudged her head, its snout as if he could read her mind. Then it looked away from her. Behind her, Vincent stood there, a protective hawk. He didn't like it that there was another watching out for Minerva. “I don't like this dragon,” Vincent murmured. Minerva would have laughed if they were not in a situation like this. The dragon tilted its head as if he heard what Vincent had said. Then it moved his attention back to Minerva.

Regulus raised a brow. The two's eyes met and they quietly stared at each other for a while. Until Clyde released a heavy breath. "A dragon can last on its full life without food, but can't last longer than a century without its treasure. The Heart of Magic is my kind's treasure, and for the sake of all of us, I'll be the one to retrieve it." He repressed himself from voicing out his other reason because he's still doubtful of Regulus. He may already be swayed by Carthal, so he can never be too cautious.
