LANDON'S POV:- FIVE HUNDRED YEARS AGO:- I was lying on my bed. A warm light of the candle that was set on a table beside my bed. It was keeping the dark away from me. I was just a kid at that time. I was not even seven. After my mom left the room when she was done with three bedtime stories. I was alone, staring at the ceiling as if I could see the shining stars in the silk black sky. The night looked darker than usual. It was the moonless night. And I always found it difficult to fall asleep in the moonless nights.

Lucas joined them on the bed, "Looks like our teddy bear is in for some excitement." They continued weaving imaginative tales, laughter filling the room, until Kai finally drifted off to sleep with dreams of daring teddy bear escapades. Eve softly kissed his forehead and whispered, "Goodnight, my little adventurer." Lucas smiled, "Sweet dreams, buddy." As they tiptoed out of the room, Lucas looked at Eve, "Our bedtime stories are getting more elaborate." Eve chuckled, "Blame it on your son. He's got a vivid imagination." And with that, they left the room, leaving behind the peaceful slumber of their little mommy's boy, surrounded by dreams sparked by their whimsical bedtime tales.

I said and went inside first. I missed another chance to tell him. Perhaps, tomorrow I’d be able to tell him. Lucas settled between us and again I saw how Logan’s face showed disappointment. Was he planning to sleep beside me? “Mommy, can you tell me a story? It helps me to sleep easily.” Lucas turned to cuddle with me. “I am not good with stories but I’ll tell you one tonight about a little girl who was the princess of her parents just like you but one day, she was left alone.” I said.

She nodded earnestly, her little face serious as she scrubbed away. We then went to their room, where I helped them into their favorite pajamas. Zenith chose his dinosaur ones, while Zendaya picked her unicorn set. “Alright, into bed you go,” I said, tucking them under the covers. “How about a bedtime story?” Their faces lit up, and they nodded eagerly. I sat on the edge of the bed and began, “Once upon a time, in a vast and endless desert, there was a single seed. This seed was special because it had a dream—to become a beautiful flower.”

I whispered with a loving smile, "which story would you like tonight?" Mathew's face lit up with excitement, his tiny hands reaching for his favorite book. "The one about the brave little wolf, Mumma!" I chuckled as I opened the book, a captivating story about a young wolf's grand adventure. Mathew listened with rapt attention, his eager eyes fixed on the pages as I spun the tale of bravery and exploration. By the time I reached the part where the little wolf found solace under the silvery glow of the moon, my son was already fast asleep.

I picked him off the floor and walked us to the bedroom. "Can't I stay up for five more minutes?" Adrian asked, his beautiful jade eyes shimmering in the glow of his Power Ranger night light. "No, baby, you have school tomorrow," I told him, getting into the bed beside him. "How about a bedtime story?" "Yes!" he squealed excitedly. I chuckled and brought out my phone. After a few pages of the children's book I'd saved on my Kindle, Adrian was fast asleep. Plugging my phone in, I settled beside him, stroking his dark hair away from his chubby face.

Go and sleep, okay? It's already getting late and you have to go to school tomorrow. You won't be able to wake up on time if you do not go to sleep now." George agreed and went to bed. "But, who will tell me a bedtime story now that you're busy?" George asked. Elena assured him, "Of course, I will." Leaving her laptop, she went to sit beside him on the bed and began to tell him the same story she had told him every night. When she saw that he had begun to sleep, she put a cover over him and helped him lie down. Afterward, she went back to what she was doing.

Just then, we heard little footsteps approaching and bringing our make out session to an abrupt end just in time to see Cassy standing by the door way with her stuff bunny in hand. I pushed back on my feet as I made to go to her while she stood there rubbing sleep away from her eyes. “I can’t sleep!” “Why can’t you sleep little pumpkin” Alex said, picking her up and into his arm. “mother forgot to tell us our bedtime story”. Alex fake a gasp as he stare back at me. Unlike her brothers, Cassy likes her bedtime stories and sometimes have a hard time sleeping if I don’t tell it to her. “How about I tell you that story pumpkin” Cassy gave a curt nod and he took her back to their room. Nathaniel said. “Another one! Another one!” Sebastian requested. Alisa nodded with a smile. “You want another story, Ali?” Nathaniel asked his daughter. Alisa nodded. “I can’t hear you, baby.” Alisa swayed her body at first, then spoke. “Another one!” Nathaniel chuckled, pinching Alisa’s cheek lightly. “Good girl.” They hadn’t seen Serena yet, so they eagerly listened to another story. The last book Nathaniel read was 'Goodnight Moon.' It was the perfect story to get them ready for bed. As he read, he changed his tone and pointed to the items mentioned in the book. By the time he was done, the kids were satisfied.

Royce chuckled. Viviana sighed and said, "Never mind, let Evelin and Layne be the flower children together, I'll just deliver the ring." She yawned and said, "Mom and Dad, Viviana is a little tired and wants to go to sleep." "Okay, close your eyes and go to sleep quickly." "Could you tell Viviana a story, Mom?"
