"I'm not lying! There is a fairy living in the castle, and his name is Oberon!" Within seconds, Fabian is in my face. He grabs my throat, lifts me up into the air, and smacks my back into the wall, growling into my face like a madman. His irises have turned into angry slits, but there is genuine fear hiding behind his rage. "Are you lying to me, werewolf?" His putrid breath is in my face, forcing tears out of my eyes. "How do you know he isn't some sort of clown pretending to be Oberon?!"

I wondered if they deliberately had shown these to humans earlier. 'Let me kill those idiots!' Thorin was excited. 'I'm not content that I put their king in the dungeon. Let me tear them apart!' I smirked at how vicious Thorin was. 'The floor is yours!' I told Thorin, and he let out a menacing growl, stopping the fight.

"They're hobs or brownies and do the cleaning in the mound. I looked up at the tunnel and realized that it was all perfectly cut stone. "So we're in a mound like fairies?" Rowen chuckled and told me elves were sorta like the fey. I rolled my eyes sarcastically and told him to get us to my son. We ran down a black marbled hall and he said to prepare my magic. I raised my glowing hands and Rowen burst through the wood door, shocking everyone inside. I raised my fists and listened attentively to the murmurs filling the room.

Of course through an ancient magic item like the green ring that Hayden has which acts as his computer? This is not impossible because this world is a fantasy world.

Who could forget? It had been such a lovely thing. "Do you want me to make you big again?" "I didn’t summon you. Go away.” "I’m bored." "Then go pester the fishes." He puffed out his chest. "I have important business." “What kind of business would a little demon have? Are you hunting an ant?" She laughed, her laughter tinkling through the night air. He rolled his eyes. “Shut up!” “Oh, I know, I know. You’re hunting hobbits." The woman smirked.

Sevrin quietly mind linked me. I looked back at him with tears already burning in my eyes. “We don’t actually have to obey him forever,” he revealed in my mind. “We just need the antidote first. We play along. We survive this first, then later we figure something out.” Hope flickered weakly inside me. This was just a trick to fool Thorin. We were just playing Pretend. Maybe Hector and I really could find a way around this later. Maybe— I swallowed hard and slowly turned toward Thorin again.

I stumbled toward Rohan, my legs feeling like lead. "Rohan," I whispered, falling to my knees beside him. His head was hanging low, blood dripping from his wounds onto the silver chains. I reached out, my fingers glowing with a soft, healing light, and touched the metal. It hummed and fell away, the silver no longer able to resist the heat of my magic. As the chain hit the dirt, Rohan’s eyes snapped open. They weren't blue anymore. They were blinding gold. Before I could breathe, he lunged. He didn't attack me; he dragged me into his chest, his hands locking around my waist. He buried his face in the crook of my neck, his breath hot and ragged against my skin.

He only wished that something good would happen soon. The next morning, the alpha was startled awake by the slamming of his door. Albus bagged in with a box of sugary cereal. "Good morning alpha!!," he joked , sauntering over the bed to take a seat. Legolas growled at the intrusion. But Albus didn't seem to mind as he happily munched away on the frosted flakes. Albus had been one of Legolas high school friends growing up and didn't seem to get affected by the alpha voice. Nor did he listen to any commands he didn't want to. Which is why Albus got away with calling the alpha rabbit food.
