From the safety of the porch door, I cautiously looked past my yard. My parents' house was nestled on the corner of two quiet residential streets, usually peaceful, so the ear-piercing cry rang like a bell of despair.

I heard him scream in pain. "Get rid of this silver! Shit!" he shouted at me again. Did I start to panic, how to remove his chain? "Can you stop them from moving for a few minutes?" I asked him nervously. "Two minutes will do?" I nodded at him. "Make sure you do it right." My eyes widened when I saw how his eyes suddenly glowed red. Suddenly, the monsters surrounding us fell one after the other. Is he Superman? "Ano na?!" he snapped at me.

Satisfied that they had done their duty when they heard responses from the hills which they knew came from the guards who were at Mount Gabor, they climbed down towards the dark doors of the caves and disappeared into the darkness with a weary heart.
