The Hunchback Of Notre Dame Mga Nobela at Kwento

Sure, it would be great if I could jump the turnstiles, but if something happens – if I get stopped by a guard, if the trains don’t come, if I miss it – then I’ve trapped myself in a hole in the ground with only one exit. Not to mention there is a shit-ton of surveillance cameras everywhere. There’s nowhere I can go that he can’t watch me. Cameras are everywhere – And then, in the distance, I see the one place where there aren’t any cameras. Not inside, anyway – because it was built over 700 years ago. Notre Dame Cathedral. I start running straight towards the 14th century. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m running towards the world’s most famous church, but on the way I say a silent prayer for M

smiled Kate, looking at the magnificent Louvre Palace. “Oh, forgive me, Mademoiselle, I get too involved. Are my speeches getting boring?” he asked. “Oh, no, no. I'm very curious. I was just wondering how much you know,” Kate tried to reassure him. “Good then. I‘m glad I didn‘t bore you in any way. If you get tired of listening, tell me,” he said happily, and then continued his story. “Well, here you see the famous Cathedral of Our Lady, known as Notre Dame. I suppose you‘ve heard the legendary love story of the Hunchback of Notre Dame?” said Pierre.

I got on the bus, I actually didn't know anywhere in Paris and honestly I just wanted to go with the wind and the wind led me to a church. Letting out a sigh I stood in front of the church, I googled it "Notre Dame Cathedral." I whispered in awe. My family wasn't big on churches but I heard it was a nice place, we really weren't religious in Banewood. It had an eerie look, it was tall with gargoyles..."Cool." I muttered to myself as I stepped into the cathedral. It felt like a holy ground and I was intruding, although I wasn't in my gothic clothes today. I snuck out unprepared in my nightdress, a white frilly gown I hated but packed in a rush to Paris.

"The roots go deeper than the castle." Dunmarragh Keep emerged from the mist like a sleeping beast - its jagged battlements black against the storm-churned sky, the original Norman keep crouching low and brutal behind later Gothic additions. As we crossed the ancient stone bridge, something dark and sinuous seemed to move between the cracks in the masonry. I blinked, and it was gone. Mrs. Higgins stood waiting in the great hall like a relic from another century, her black bombazine dress whispering against the flagstones.

The building was still as cold as they remembered. The corridors were silent to death. Dim lights add to the chillness of the walls. A certain odour lingered in the dark holes in the walls. It was a castle. But it seemed like nobody lived in it. A faint hint of blood entered Max's nostrils and he held his breath. It burnt his inside.

His position on the floor wasn't countered, so Rayla decided to join him, revolted by the black 'shit-water' but baring in mind her reasons. "I know of a cure, it's potency can only be affirmed by a witch that lives in Notre Dame though but..." Higgins' self and depleted hope had now become all that remained as she mentioned an address off the island. He shot himself out of his position, breaking away from her warm feel beside him and turned to face her. "This cure... It's in Notre Dame? As in Notre Dame de Paris?" He shouted. "How the hell are we supposed to get to France?" He actually put up a good question, which she was ever ready to answer.

Plip. Sebastian was limping heavily now. Every step was agony. The uneven ground twisted his ankles, sending shocks of pain up his damaged nerves. But he refused to stop. He refused to let the Frenchman see him weak. "We are close," Louis checked the compass in the journal. "The deeper we go, the older the bones." They reached a circular chamber. The ceiling was domed, supported by a pillar made entirely of skulls. On the far wall, there was a stone carving: A Weeping Angel.

I didn’t move; I didn’t have to. “Change back.” I told him; my hand constricting around his throat; he choked. Henrique changed back into his human form; he gasped for air; the blood trickled from his nose. I stood him up by his throat; he hung there; his feet dangling off the ground. “You made a big mistake coming for what’s mine.” I told him. “I… I’m not giving you anything.” He struggled for air; his eyes popped. I nodded slowly; I took him over to his bike; I tossed him onto his bike; I raised my hand; my claws sparkled in the moonlight; I slowly dragged my claws across the metal gas tank of his bike.

I explained. “And who are you?” “I am the hired hand of the Order. That is all you need to know.” I stated as I calmly finished my drink. “And what order would that be?” He asked, annoyed, “Thanks to you I lost my supper.” He sighed, staring off into the crowd. "You should know we, after all, have taken out so many of your kin," as he stared at me blankly, I added, " it’s the ancient order of Valhalla Bridge.”

"Don't worry, I've seen some strange things myself." Soon, they strode past the messy compound and into the apartment building. It was very old and had no elevators, so they climbed all the way to the fourth floor. Sadie then knocked on a rusted steel bar door, and it quickly opened, revealing a hunchback whose face was hidden beneath a hooded cloak. She thumped the floor heavily twice with her cane and snapped, "So you're alive, Sadie Godot?" Sadie smiled. "Indeed, and I managed to latch on to a bigwig as well!"
