I sat on my bed with the phone in my lap and the word book expanding inside me like a held breath that had been waiting months to be released.

Protective, possessive and crazy with want. I bet he'd be like that in real life too, except a lot more charming and talkative than this guy. And with a way better butt. And… ➿➿➿➿➿ I blame the book. It turned smutty out of goddamn nowhere, so it put ideas into my head. And it also made it impossible for me to put it down or for me to stop picturing Bram as the guy... and me as the girl. So, when I fall asleep, the dream starts forming like a movie I'm too weak to turn off.

There was something about it that made me want to record every detail. "What's your book about?" he asked suddenly, without taking his eyes off the screen. I looked down at the book in my hands. "It's about a woman's journey to find herself." He stopped typing and turned his head. "Sounds interesting." I smiled faintly. “Interesting. I nodded, shooing her off so that I could be in a state of peace and quiet once more. After meeting Lucifer an idea for a book started to play in my head. A book between two individuals who had pure and selfish lust for one another. Kind of like what Lucifer and I have. It intrigued me how two individuals could want and crave each other so intensely, so shamelessly. The simple gesture of his warm breath dancing on my skin made my heart pound in my chest a million times faster than it was meant to beat.
